  1. Everyday they push more and more people towards Fedex and other carriers……………Keep it up, you'll all be unemployed before you know it.
If 12% over 5 years isn't enough, then brush up your resume.

  2. People here who are upset are upset at the wrong people..Letter Carriers are the ones working their butts off while Management has mismanaged money and keep crying poor to the public. Getting huge bonuses every year, spending half a billion dollars on the new plant and billions on electrical vehicles that are not being used around the country is where all the money went and they call that losing money going into debt. Learn the facts folks Letter carriers (CUPW) employees deserve more…

  3. According to CBC Tue, November 19, 2024 at 7:26 p.m. EST· Service Canada is holding 85,000 passports as Canada Post strike continues. Employment and Social Development Canada said that "in anticipation of a potential labour disruption," Service Canada stopped mailing passport packages on Nov. 8 — a week before Canada Post workers walked off the job. They lied. They sent my passport to Canada Post on November 12th – so now I am S.O.L. and the Passport Office won’t answer the phone, won’t offer an email address, won’t give me any way to find out what, if anything, can be done to get my passport to me. A pox on both their houses!

  4. I had a small business in Canada before I moved to the US. Canada Post is the cheapest shipper in Canada That is why a lot of small businesses use them and to do this to people's businesses is terrible.

  5. They ate being offered a good deal .if they were working for a private company and were bleeding money they would be forced to take concessions or face closure .lose billions and want a 24 percent raise .leave them out and save money

  6. The operation for courier as Canada Post ( government official delivery organization ), basically involve 3 parts , the superior is Civics/users/customers , then the lower parties,Company and Worker union .
If the strike as 2018 , rotation strike , the civics /users/ customers' affection were small , so we don’t care the strike .
But the strike this time , these two lower parties compete for own gain profit to hurt and sacrifice the superior part, civics/users /customers .
So we must fire the Canada Post Company and worker union .
If you don't take action to invlove immediately , All customers ,users and civics who have parcels are processing in the facility of Canada post will access “class action” to lawsuit Canada Post for missing delivery promise

  7. I work for a unionized company and when we went on strike, we, the employees still felt bad for the people we served. This seems like the strikers are straight up saying "F you, I don't care about how this effects anyone. Give me what I want! "
How about we just dismantle Canada Post? I'm done.
And the union is fighting against 7 day delivery? More work hours, a great service to the people YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE SERVING, and is already a standard for your competition!
Way to fight your way into the unemployment line!
