  1. I’ve found Bryan’s work to be so interesting. I think the quest for longevity is a noble one, though I think some pieces of the blueprint protocol are to strict to take into account the life and health-giving properties of things that are hard to measure, like staying up late having a deep conversation with a loved one, seeking to serve others even when it cuts into time and resources that allow us to live optimally, eating a warm cookie and feeling the rush of nostalgia and calm as you feel yourself a child in your mother’s kitchen again, if only briefly. I also think a truly sustainable lifestyle doesn’t depend so significantly on hormones and supplements (though there are times that those kinds of things can be hugely useful, like for those of us who live far enough north that sufficient vitamin D in the winter is essentially an impossibility without supplementation).

Also, just wanna drop another challenging idea to consider from a theistic point of view:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

For those coming from the atheistic or secular worldview, I hope you’ll be willing to confront new ideas that come from a religious and theistic worldview

If we are eternal beings but currently live in mortal bodies that are bound to wear down and die despite our best efforts, what does it mean for us to be spiritually healthy? What does it look like to be connected to the source of life and being?

Just more food for thought 🙂

  2. To "save" humanity you have to teach people how to heal themselves…it's the only true change… You have to deep dive into mental health and the underlying and deep seeded trauma of the human race… it is the root of *everything*, but FIRST you must tackle your own to acquire the prerequisite skills, understanding and experience. Humanity suffers from a deep, primordial abandonment, and victim hood trauma (our birth story – it all starts there. It's even written into one of the world's biggest myths: the myth of the fall and being kicked out of the garden of eden… think about it)

It has resulted in the trauma responses of self absorption and GREED (filling the void), and SELF-DESTRUCTIVE behaviors of humanity (including eating ourselves to death) that's where those things come from. All trauma seeks resolution and it will get it one way or another, if not externally than it will create it. This is why people become the bully or the abuser… the neurological ruts created by the trauma seek fulfillment like electricity on a path of least resistance until someone exercises the willpower (it's not "free") to be a good person and intervenes… start with your own birth story, mine was being cut out 9 weeks early before i was ready… then work through all of your imprints until you arrive at the present… it's no good living forever if we continue to make the toxic behaviors that come from unhealed trauma "more sustainable"…

  3. at 2:10 – Bryan, been a fan for a while, and I really commend your science centered approach, value for human life, and emphasis on making healthier choices to extend your life. However, the idea that humans would "never" die is an irresponsible one. Even if you fixed aging completely, it doesn't seemed like you have a grasp on the concept of infinity. Humans will die from one cause or another, and they will keep dying forever. And, maybe that's not a bad thing. Maybe it's actually not responsible to spread the idea that death is escapable. I commend you for your efforts to improve people's lives, but there is room to refine your ideas, maturity to gain, and lessons about infinity and death to learn. Wishing you well.

  4. The first time I heard of you I wrote you off pretty quick. However, the 2nd time and ever time after I listen to you, I like you more and more. I am currently following the diet protocol and I love it. I can't wait to listen to your audio books. You're awesome! Keep it up!

  5. 200-300 years from now, people will look at this guy and think something like : "I can't believe that people didn't realise such obvious things earlier and didn't listen to him". Like a modern day human looking at the neanderthal and wondering how they didn't figure out how to properly conserve and cook food.

Kudos to you, Bryan, thanks to your researches my grandkids will probably live few centuries.

  6. Bryan, thank you for your transparency. As a mama, my heart aches for you. Your children will come around. I escaped Mormonism as a teenager. I was born under the Covenant, Ezra T. was my 3rd cousin and my mom hailed from SLC. One of my great great grandfathers was at Mountain Meadows Massacre. The spiritual burden was heavy, now it is light. I left angry, then came to peace knowing that an omnipotent creator did not create us to perish, neither was it necessary to make blood oaths of self condemnation for revelation of secret rituals. You are leading the way. I have been so much more gentle with my self talk since watching your videos. You showed me that I am worth the effort, that life isn't finished in middle age and that there's hope to recover the energy and vitality of my youth. Thank you for making the hard choices along the way. Prayers and good vibes of the highest frequency headed your way!

  7. Long before Bryan Johnson came online on YT and other online venues, the thought of immortality has crossed my mind many times. I think that it would be difficult to see how immortality could not be achieved through understanding of the bodies mechanisms – which are all inherently meant to be understood. I am not saying in any way this is impossible or likely any time soon, but it can be achieved as we evolve our understanding of the body's functions – for example, how genes are turned on and turned off. In the end, the first thing that must occur is that a nucleus of humans must evolve (like Bryan) that fundamentally know that body immortality is possible, and in fact, define their goal as massively expanding lifespan (and healthspan, btw). It's a journey, but all journeys start with a desire and some sort of general direction. That is what we have now on this earth plane – let's see how this evolves over time. I for one am very excited about this journey and hope to be here for some if not all of it.

  8. Our understanding of ourselves as a species needs to evolve and what we considers the problems of now may not be the problems of the future and ageing will definitely won’t be one of them. An intelligent or advanced civilisation needs to get rid of such limitations to grow as a species.

  9. It is very cool that you wrote letters to your kids. Don't worry that they did not open them yet. They will one day! And your letters will touch them deeply no matter if you are a billionaire or working at a gas station. You will always be their dad 🙂

  11. Dear Bryan, I have no interest in the Don't Die movement as such but I admire you greatly. You are very introspective and remind me of Buddhist practitioners who are very familiar with all aspects of themselves, they good, the bad, OK, the ugly? LOL! But seriously, just to unchain yourself from the beliefs that were forced upon you as a child is incredibly brave and shows great resilience. I LOVE how accepting and understanding you are when your other 2 kids showed no interest in your notes. You did not take it personally or make it about you but instead showed love by allowing them to just be who they are. I find you very disarming and I can only attribute it to your directness and honesty.

  12. I'm all for it but who's going to pay for ppl to live longer? Currently, we barely have enough social security in the USA for the next 10-15 years let alone ppl living say an extra 50 years theoretically. Have you seen the national debt lol. A majority of ppl live paycheck to paycheck. Does this mean we need to work longer? Save more money? How will that impact food resources and competition for jobs, goods, services, housing and global space? Is this meant for those of a certain socio economic status? Just wondering.

  13. You're a stupid twat that doesn't listen to the things or people that he should, instead you do your own thing thinking that that's the right path. I bet the person liking people's comments isn't even you, but some random person you pay to click a button, but you think that you're connected to life and reality more than the rest of us? You know nothing. You're not awake, you're putting yourself to sleep.
