  1. Heyo, I hear ya about too many calls to action in the video. I can't fix it in this one of course but in future I'll limit the number of them. Hope you enjoy the video despite that annoyance! You are beautiful see ya in the next challenge run. Here's a hint as to what it will be. 🤖

  2. I'm absolutely terrified of the war veteran who loses his wife, has his child kidnapped, and experiences the apocalypse, and decides, "I don't even need a gun for what I'm about to do."

  3. I did a challenge run back when survival difficulty first came out. A "no bullet" run. So only melee and explosives. I don't rush the end like you do. I ended up too OP to the point that it wasn't fun anymore and abandoned it. Stealth build, of course. Chameleon and ballistic weave everything. One shoting Legendary Deathclaws. Could literally crouch at the feet of something and beat it to death without it ever seeing me. Good times.

  4. My friend said survival was very hard and you had to sneak everywhere, conserve ammo, you had the think about what to loot because of the limited carry capacity and you basically couldn't use melee and with no fast travel you couldn't use power armour and chems would cripple you . . . so I said hold my beer and made a power armour bezerker melee and big guns chem monster who loots everything and tore through the game,.

I didn't even have combat perks until level 40, I just used a lot of chems. Did you know you can stack chems based on their addiction, buffout and bufftats don't stack because they're both buffout but bufftats and psychobuff stack because psychobuff is psycho addiction. Also a fusion core that reads 0/100 still sells for full caps so with high barter and charisma you can swap out an expired core for a fresh one for 80 caps.

The only change I made was that I went to Wolfgang to buy drugs, then back to red rocket to craft them into better versions with the chemist perk before saving preston and the gang. Turns out when you have high charisma you can buy things from merchants and survive very easily. It was also the most immersed I'd been in FO4 since I actually interacted with the NPC and was happy to see them, rather than being a anti-social sniper hermit hobo like most players.

Edit: the first house on the right as you're going into concord has a baseball bat behind the front door, bat carried me through 75% of the game intil I got a legendary penetrating bat.

  5. 25:10 From what I can tell from my own experience, melee VATS fails when: 1) The enemy is too close to you during the animation. 2) The enemy is too close to obstructive terrain. 3) The enemy is on an uneven surface. Plenty of annoying deaths in my own melee survival playthroughs because of VATS failures, worse still when it drains your AP and places you right in front of an enemy shotgun.

  6. LOL. I was reading on my phone during this, and something tickled my brain. My attention snapped back, and I felt like i had slid into an alternate dimension for a sec, then checked that yes, i was still watching a Willow vid and not an MDB one. Then, I had to rewind to see how the hell it happened. Well done, gang. Gag well-executed XD
