I notice a few errors in the movie, belt loops not use until WWI because sewing machine to make them was not invented until 1898, snaps on the vest, they would have used buttons made from mother of pearl, horn, antler, wood and other natural materials. Leather goods are completely wrong, the leather shell holders haven't been used because of acid used in making leather. A couple of pistols are stage guns. Holster loops in belts are pure Hollywood ideas. They help actors to create a faster draw. I have carried my guns, both ways, in drop holster and an angle carry. I have a simple question: Who carries 50 bullets on the belt? The weight of bullets wears you out, when I pack my Colt 45 when guard duty or hunting I carried only 6 more rounds. Never needed any more. The fight at OK corral used only 32 or 31 rounds and lasted 30 seconds.
