  1. Saha world in sankrit refers to our solar system, filled with sufferings and afflictions, yet gladly endured by inhabitants.

Many people are keen to know why there is an  Alaya within our true mind?
When did our true mind change into Alaya?
The true mind is forever unchanged.
But  where did Alaya come from?
Surangama Sutra gives us a very clear explanation but unfortunately it is not easy for lay people to understand the Sutra without a learned Teacher.

There are eight faculties within body.
    Our Six Sense Organs: Eyes/sight, Ears/sound, Nose/scent, Mouth/taste, Body/ touch and Mind/thoughts.
    Seventh is the Mona
    Eight is the Alaya.

True self nature or true mind will forever remain the same and cannot be polluted.
Every moment we are using our true mind , just that we are not aware of it.
An analogy for layman to understand :
Let take our eyes. The first sight from our true mind is unpolluted.
The problem is , our true mind is not in-charge anymore. When the eyes remit the sights to the Seventh Faculty (Mona) , discrimination views and thoughts are send to our Alaya (data base).
Our body has a butler (Alaya).
The butler is in-charge of all our wandering thoughts, discriminations and attachments. This is our biggest problems. Therefore everything we see, and think are from our Alaya is not our true mind. They are called wandering thoughts. Discharge the butler, and rely on the true mind, wisdom is in function.

The purpose of Buddha's Teachings is to help us to discard our deluded minds, return and rely on our true mind.

Return from Delusion and rely on the Awakening.
Return from Deviations and rely on the Correct Understanding.
Return from Pollution and rely on Purity.
    These are The Triple Jewels:
    The Buddha
    The Dharma
    The Sangha.

Diamond Sutra said : Phenomena is the manifestation of our mind, like a dream, a bubble, dewdrops or echo and nothing can be had.
