Lets be real, the amount of mutations in RE8 is insane. Typically the route to induce such mutations were utilziing the megamycete or cadou infection to alter the forms of those infested. However, some were more intelligent than others. Heisenberg would go on to utilize his engineering skills to cobbel together machine and flesh to create the soldats. As his process became more refined, he would ultimately create a version much more powerful than the other infected create by the other lords. In todays episode we will discuss these augmentations, what were the effects on the body and how it was done!

  1. 2:10 No, it's not his fault, it's Ethan's fault

Ethan is the moron here, not Heisenberg.

The biggest reason why I never wanna play this game again is the protagonist, Ethan is such an incompetent moron, whenever he does anything as I'm not controlling him, it's either stupid or outright detrimental for someone's well-being.

  2. you know your videos make me wonder sometimes if the devs of some games just have another Roanoke as a part of their team. You explain it in ways that I trust make so much sense but surely the team didn't just make all these sensible adjustments by happenstance in cases like RE8 and Dead Space. I always wonder who is it that went "Y'know what. this reactor would create a sucking chest wound, so let's make sure they have a breathing apparatus to supplement for that." obviously in some cases its just because it looks cool and you find ways that it would make sense. but other times it just seems like the puzzle pieces fit so perfectly that your explanation seems to have actually been their intent to begin with.

  3. Loved Heisenberg. I think the exact factory scenes could've worked very well if we had actually talked to Heisenberg much earlier, maybe right after the castle segment, and already learn he's not on the family's side there. They then slowly build him as a potential ally, explaining his motives to the player and how they align with yours, only for him to say the wrong thing at the wrong time and piss off Ethan much like happened in the game as is. That way the idea of Heisenberg as an ally has some time to sit in your mind, time for that seed to grow so to say, and only THEN do they pull the rug out from under you. That way you don't get that "Oh you want to ally? Oh you don't WHAT IS IT MY DUDE?!" kind of vibe during those cutscenes.

  4. If they are somewhat dead and the brain is gone too long, maybe there is a sensor of some kind that interprets any feedback from the eyes and ears and triggers a solenoid to drive a mechanical/pneumatic system to swing the arm with incredible force despite the muscle being quite dead. This would only work for attacking as I believe the fight/flight response is one of the few signals distinct enough that it could be detected by a crude electrode.

  5. Your video game videos are what got me watching you too begin with. I believe the first ones I watched were on doom. I've been pretty regularly watching you for like 2 years now. I love your content

  6. Your breakdown about how traumatic brain injuries work was fascinating and is one of the reasons I love your channel. I have zero interest in resident evil but all the interest in what you have to say.
