Brushwood Christmas and New Years Gala (Running Session)

I thought I would start the year off with a bang and get the model railway out for the biggest running session Brushwood has held! I am aware that this video is a bit late to the party, but due to work, the video has only just been created. This video was created over various running sessions from Christmas day, into the first week of January. Unfortunately, the railway has gone back into storage for a while but will hopefully return soon! This running session was alot of fun, the biggest I have had with most of my fleet getting a decent run of some sort and a few extra Christmas goodies added to the event!

Brushwood is an OO gauge fictional layout measuring approximatley 6 1/2′ by 4′ and is stored, when not in use, underneath my bed. This system is not ideal, as damage is always occuring and the layout suffers greatly from dust picked up from the carpet, despite being covered when not in use. The railway is controlled by a Gaugemaster model D controller which controls 2 running loops.

Happy new year and I hope 2024 brings you all plenty of model train action!

I do not own any music featured in this video.

Featured music:
Jack Hylton and his Orchestra – I Wonder Where My Baby Is Tonight?
Glenn Miller – Tuxedo Junction
Green Hill Instrumental – The Charleston
Dukes of Dixieland – Dill Pickles
Glen Gray – No Name Jive
Duke Ellington – Take The “A” Train
Kupla – Kingdom In Blue
Bruce Springsteen – There Goes My Miracle

Thanks for Watching
