Broken Pieces |Short film|Jay Shah|Dev Mehta|Gayatri Sharma

A point comes in every relation where you can’t look past the small things anymore. A point comes where it just doesn’t seem to work anymore. The touch doesn’t feel the same, the words don’t hold the same truth and the laughs seems fake. It all becomes some sort of a lifeless routine. At this point the question arises, who’s fault is it?
A film that was shot as a college project 2 years ago, a film very close and personal to us, is something that we kept away for all this while. So finally, here is a piece of our heart that we would like to share with you. We hope it resonates with you and reminds you of your loved memories.

  1. This was honestly so good! The chaos of emotions was conveyed pretty well through the dialogues and acting. Realistic and thought provoking. At the end, usually the fault is of neither of them or both of them, when circumstances overtake the love for one another. People are flawed and even flawed in love, because another person has to handle things about you that only you have been handling yourself your whole life. Maintaining the balance of considering your partner as half a part of you and maintaining your individuality, is where the dilemma arises. Anyways, great job team! Enjoyed it.

  2. One of my favourite short films. In a limited amount of time the topics covered ensure the viewer gets a sense of closure which is extremely rare. Gripping and engaging to no end. The direction is phenomenal, the acting makes you fall in love and cinematography is fabulous. All in all, I am in love. Congratulations to the team, you have achieved what established artists struggle to. Honestly, thank YOU for making this film.
