  1. Another great reaction DrM!
IMO, it's nothing short of societal delusion to legislate post-pubescent sexual activity… Kids will be kids!!!
I was 13 when I first engaged in oral sex, and 14 for intercourse. Until capitalism developed to the point where it needed extended education for its future workers, puberty was the marker between child&adult, which is the logical division. Indeed, "adolescence" was made up to create a new life stage to prolong "childhood" into the teen yrs.

  2. Thanks for the upload! The edutainment is much appreciated. I hope psychology and psychiatric professionals follow suit. I'm really tired of all of these YouTube videos about mental health being putting out by non-medical-professionals. They're full of falsehoods and sometimes treat mental illnesses like some kind of game.

  3. You're getting better and better at putting the episode names and storylines together to figure out the twists. TTP was also a great call before they had dropped the key info!

At the end of the episode, the patient begs House not to tell her parents that she's pregnant. He replies, "under New Jersey law, you're the boss", meaning that he still has a duty of confidentiality even though she's underage. Would that be the same in the UK, that you would have to keep this secret from the parents?

  4. I've been making a point to watch this series in bursts (multiple videos at once) and it's been an utter blast. I enjoy learning things about the human body and the various illnesses that can affect it. I especially love when the diagnosis sounds like a long-winded bunch of jibberish. I don't know why, but that releases dopamine in my brain.

Also, my kidney stone apparently passed right before I visited the urologist, so I'm all good there now. Ended up not being as rough of a ride towards the end. Thank God for oxy.

  5. So would a child who was 15 and had sex with another 15 year old potentially face criminal charges in the UK? Here in the states we have laws covering all of that, however it usually provides for small differences in age.
