British Battlecruiser Line feat Guest star

I recently finished the grind on the new British battlecruiser line and it was terrific fun. The accuracy, the speed, and those torps were interesting to put to use, so much so that I decided to make a two-part series on the line with my fleet mate Algean.
So come along while we chat and watch me potato my way through a few matches in the HMS Renown, HMS Rooke and the HMS Hawke

  1. I can see why some BB players might struggle with these battle cruisers. If you’re used to being able to tank and absorb damage, it’s not always an easy transition.

In a way, the British and German BC lines have some similarities, particularly the fact that they have high damage output, weak armour and pretty good speed – the main difference is that the British line is mainly about the main guns so you’ll want to stay at range, whereas the German line is more about the secondaries so you’ll want to be at medium range. And both lines are definite favourites of mine.

For what it’s worth, I actually find the Hawke can hold its own reasonably well. I didn’t like the Renown very much, but I’ve enjoyed both the Rooke and the Hawke quite a lot.
