BREAKING NEWS: Ohio State Football QB CJ Stroud Declares for 2023 NFL Draft!

Buckeye QB CJ Stroud announces he will leave for the NFL Draft and will not return to play for Coach Ryan Day. An expected move for most, but people sure were putting out cryptic tweets trying to troll a passionate fan base at their expense. Also Sam Hubbard and Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals get a massive win over the Baltimore Ravens. JK Dobbins was NOT happy and popped off in the media. Who will play in the NFL for a Super Bowl? ALSO… Who will be the quarterback for the Buckeyes in 2023?

  1. Keep it real, in 2020 Fields didn't have that great of a game in the B1G championship against NW. Despite never beating UM, Stroud had better performances in both UM games than Fields B1G championship. In the 2019 CFP, Fields didn't have that great of a game against Clemson. Stroud only "balled out" both of his post season games. Dont want to hear any stats, just go back and watch the games.

  2. Was honestly hoping that the very last edition of THE GAME that mattered would feature JJ v. CJ.
Next season (2024), the Michigan/OSU game will be largely irrelevant because both teams will make the playoff every year.

  3. yep, Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields in that draft …and we see Trevor went to a team with real receivers and we must note: Tua Tagovailoa has real receivers in Miami or like real receivers Hurst has in Philly or like real receivers Joe Burrows has in Cincy, – etc. etc. etc, …but "who the hell" does Justin Fields have to throw to and when was the last time the Bears had a receiver worthy of the Pro Bowl? ….well???

  4. Was laughing at people hoping CJ would come back. I said no way someone turns downs 20 to 30 million guaranteed. Someone said he is a man of God and money will not sway his decision. Don't matter how religious a person is generational wealth will always play a role in persons decision to stay or go pro. To say otherwise is silly.

  5. Sam Hubbard come to Ohio State as a soccer player who was committed to Notre Dame and decided to come to Ohio State cuz they wanted him to play football now I'm sure as a soccer player and a tight end he probably had pretty good speed probably weighed 225 lb now you say is lost the step you would too if you were up about 260

  6. Buckeye fans (as with most fans in general) have recency bias. CJ Stroud played phenomenal in last year's Rose Bowl against Utah and played the way he played this year. Who's to say he doesn't have the same slow start (for the third time), lose to bichigan again (for the third time), and ball out in the bowl game (for the third time)? I'm happy for CJ that he's getting to the bag and advancing his career and I'm excited to see how the Buckeyes move on from the CJ Stroud era. With all of the weapons we have coming back, I only see this offense improving with a more athletic quarterback who isn't afraid to run the ball taking the snaps.

  7. Nooo jt is most hated for me. Cj 5x better qb than jt at everything except leading and being a bad sob. Which if he had and we had any bit of a competent defense we had at least one natty in his time. But still jt was so incompetent at playing the position. Duck after duck I still have nightmares… qb power

  8. I think Lathan is more of a box safety like you said Zach. That’s what he was recruited to play coming out of Arizona. Very instinctive tackler and physical guy who can cover a tight end. But not matched up on an island agains the fastest guy on the field man 😂😩

  9. Gonna miss CJ, I just feel like Coach Day held him back. He was too afraid of him getting injured, and that probably led to some tense moments between the two.
Heartbroken 💔 for the families of the Georgia accident victims.

  10. Aye Kris man.. Don't worry about that shit w/ Austin.. You are with the Big Dawg and Menace2Sports is thriving. I enjoy Letterman Row and The Podcast. Love the Roosters live streams but.. I don't want to hear that Austin doesn't come out and shit talk the Buckeyes, He does. He has no room to act better than anyone. Especially a dude like Kris. Happy Zack has his back and I am a little let down over Austin's actions, Altho I felt he could be an asshole off camera.. Probably can't even handle his Alcohol and acts like a bitch on it.

Goodluck Cj! I know his career in the NFL is going to be insane. Thank you for the 2 years
