Breakfast time for the rescue beavers

Sound up for beaver vocals. Everyone gets a tasty sweet potato for breakfast. They all eat together inside the lodge with plenty of vocals. The primary diet is leafy greens such as kale, fresh willow and tree browse and rodent chow. They also get daily branches to chew on. Beaver teeth grow continuously for life and they have to chew to keep the teeth at a healthy size. #beavers #cuteanimals #funnyanimals #beaverdam #wildliferescue #wildliferehab #asmranimal

  1. These Beavers are adorable. Thank you for love that you give them. Hear in England we have reintroduced Beavers into the wild for the first time in hundreds of years. They are amazing animals that do so much good for the natural world.

  2. Adorable sounds!, but I would think that would be a detriment to a prey animal to be so noisey while in a vulnerable state such as eating? I wonder why they do that, and do the adults do it too?

  3. To cute.. sounds like one of them (the one in the corner) was trying to tell the other one to stop cramming him into the corner and give him space.. is it possible for you to educate us on there communication style?

  4. They're loving those potatoes!Β
Beavers' teeth are interesting; they have iron in them (instead of calcium like we do) so they are very hard wearing (that's why they look orange). They only have enamel at the front of the teeth so that they get sharper as they wear down.Β
I think beavers are just amazing and adorable; thank you Holley for all the work and care you are putting in, you're an inspiration!
