  1. It appears as if the beaver lay the big log behind the dam to prevent it from breaking again. You should break it one more time and see what he does. I'm curious to to see if he will create an even more robust structure the next time. Probably mean to keep messing with it, but the upside is learning how these animals behave to better understand them.

  2. Nice! And now you have a 3D target, so you can take a few practice shots from the blind into the salt lick to make sure your aim will be perfect. Unless you’re going to shoot them with a rifle or shotgun.

  3. What an awesome sponsor 👍🏻
Looking forward to seeing how this goes down for you.
For those who can't afford it, a coffee can full of water softener salt from a hardware store mixed into the soil does the same thing. Very cheap and affordable 👌
    Great video Chris

  4. Mineral licks have been used for decades my friend, I've used food plots, licks, and orchards for 50 years. They're for real, but in some states and even counties, very illegal. The deer look good, hopefully they'll put on a little weight like that first bruiser…lol Love what you're doing ❤️

  5. Always enjoy new content from your adventures Chris. Tell me why a solar powered pool filter wouldn't be effective at the pond. A sand bed filter, or other medium, is unlimited and sustainable. The water could be returned to the pond via a small waterfall or flow, thereby further oxygenating the water.

  6. When I first started hunting way back when, I didn't think that kind of stuff worked but it really does. Deer cain is what I use for a yearly block and i replace it around 3 times a year. Over time those extra minerals really do help out the animals. Keep on keepin on…
