I could listen to Joni sing this song everyday. Such a completely relaxing moment where Joni truly loves to sing and be surrounded by those who love her.❤️
Thank you Joni, for ALL of your imagination, your creativity, sharing it with us all, and most of all Joni, thank you for remaining CANADIAN dear. THAT is the best compliment you could give to the entire Country. Joni, the Canadian Super STAR! thank you, thank you, thank you
Joni is a treasure. A poet. She was and still is wise beyond her years. What a treat and privilege to see Joni perform in 2022. I've endured love, loss and heartbreak to her catalogue.
Love Joni, but she never took care of her voice. What a pity. She never cared as much as we did about that crystal clear voice. A good poet though, because that doesn’t require physical voice. This is a vocal parody. Too bad.
What a train wreck. Shouldnt have taken that vaccine joni. Still – at least we are now living in the marxist utopia all you old hippies dreamt of. The best is yet to come! enjoy
I was at the Newport folk Festival in 1967. Although I was sitting pretty far back in the audience, stretched out in the lawn with a girl I wanted to get close to (but never did) I can still recall Joni Mitchell’s performance. It was pure magic. Leonard Cohen was also there but to be honest he didn’t make much of an impression on me at the time. Later, of course, I became a big fan of both Leonard Cohen and Joni. They played a huge role during my college years. I’m almost as old as Joni, and although the years have taken their toll the memories are as clear and strong as ever.
The soundtracks of my life are, like me, getting older. That said, I wouldn’t trade that life, or my memories, for anything. I feel so blessed that I was part of all the sides of life.
To the people who said Joni Mitchell shouldn't have done it. Don't patronise. She wouldn't have done it if she knew it would be fake, wrong,… All her work is a.o. about vulnerability. And the orchestration, the backing vocals, … are all perfect. As if Joni Mitchell oversaw this. This is one of the most beautiful renditions of the song. Thanks Brandi Carlile and the crew for making this happen.
I lost my mother at 7 we were ran over ..unfortunately she made it and I did.. later on in life , my year and a half niece was taken from our family by the nanny… I wish I started to understand the meaning of “god doesn’t give you what you can’t go through”… cause it sure seems like my life has been a nightmare.. I’ve forgotten how to love or connect with others of fear of going thru the same pain again…this song really touched me in understanding..i really don’t know love or life at all… can’t wait to be done with this nightmare.
Long live the queen of folk, and hope and truth and honor and so much more. Thank you Joni for showing us the way. Such a delicate power house. Love you dear.
Simply magical and mesmerising . And the support she receives from Ms Carlisle, the pianist and cellist is simply an object lesson in senstivity and musicianship.
I'm not crying, just dust in my eyes 💝
What is the name of the piano player ? Most breathtaking and emotional performance ever.

I have to break out my Joni LP's and spin them on the turntable.
The backing vocals are totally out of tune. They better shut up.
I think we all needed this as a collective soul
I love you, Joni. For all of my days and, who knows, even after that…

I'm bawling my eyes out

She was persuaded to do this. If she were well, she would have said no.

What a national treasure
I can’t stop listening to her
Where's that damn box of tissue?!…🥲❤️
This is first time I've cried as an adult I've loved this woman for fifty years
The greatest lyricist of the twentieth century ❤❤❤
I love her voice on this so much depth
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I wish the woman in the floral suit would pipe down and let Joni sing.

Was that Judy Collins sitting next to her? I can't tell.
Ainda bem que ela não ficou esquecida nas letras e nas coisas em geral, depois da doença
This gives me hope that if I have a stroke that people could be waiting to help me come back from it.

Is she on a throne?
