I agree to an point. I think book 1. Is the underdog heroes journey/finding ones identity/questioning what you been told especially history/laws,book 2. Will be discovery/political intrigue,book 3. Multi-viewpoint/more world building,books 4/5. Dragons,dragons,and dragons! A thing too point out in an interview Rebecca said forth wing is about violet whose family line is GOING to be dragonriders…. Theory And so far the only non dragonrider has seemingly permanently passed hmm Mrs. Yarros what's being implied
I think Colonel Aetos had something to do with Violet's dad's death and Lilith is trying to save her. I think Lilith could turn the tide in a war for the rebellion against the Venin.
I wondered if 6 months before the start of the book, when Lillith pushed Violet towards the Riders Quadrant was that she (Lillith) found out that Violets Dad had been killed for what he knows and so she pushed Violet into the Riders to protect her from the Scribes who would likely do the same to her when she inevitably started digging into the information

I actually think in the little snippet Violet says she is still angry at Xaden 😂
Also I remember when fourth wing first got released like it's first week and wasn't it being marketed originally as a duology like only two books would be published even though Rebecca said on TikTok she had written and planned out enough material for five books
LOOOVVVE this episode. I really hope we get violet's reaction to Andarna growing. Like Andarna lands in front of her and they have a cute little moment.
For whatever reason, I am hesistant to trust Brennan. I kind of see him like a first season Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries.
I strongly feel Xaden knows he almost completely lost her once and he will not take that chance again. Just like Tairn says we withheld information from you and we will not do that again. I think it will be ALOT of Kaden saying ask whatever you want/make sure you want the answer, but I will answer whatever you ask. I may not be forthcoming, but I will honestly answer any and all questions. (Also, I have read many many of Rebecca's other romances and this is a consistent theme.)
Xanden has to return either way bc then all the other 107 kids lives are forfeit. They (leadership) have to act like nothing happened and keep an eye on everyone. Also what if Tarin and Sgail (?) die and Violet uses her 2nd signet aka resurrection/mending to keep Xanden alive. One day he will eventually bond with another Dragon OR he can NEVER bond another dragon? I think Tarin was surprised by V's gift but I think he knows there may be a prophecy and this confirmed it. I think the rebellion kids have a second signet but it's not as "powerful" as their true signet but it still stronger than lesser magic.

I'm only 5mins into this video but Dane only had 7hours after touching violet to betray xaden. I think the war games for xaden was already in motion because he was a marked one. I think that violet will return to school lieing about what happened. No vennon just gryphons and that xaden died so he can be more part of the rebellion.
Agree with Imogen using speed as her signet to throw off the scent (cos why would one then hide that and not wear a badge about it). In her fight with Violet at the beginning, effing Dain shouts for Imogen not to use her "powers" in the ring against Vi. So Dain clearly thinks her signet is speed (but he's a dumb dumb, so 🤷🏻♀️)

I feel like Violets dad knew about Brennan being alive because after they found his note in the fables book she told Xaden “He got a little…cryptic in the years after Brennan died.”

I think Tairn knew what was happening to Violet when she was asleep because Amber's dragon told him.
Also, this could fall underneath the evidence of xaden being an intenzic (sorry I don’t know how to spell that)
the scene where Violet is yelling out, everyone’s signet power, I believe it’s after she finds out she’s can wheel lightning and is upset about it. she’s yelling out everyone power ,and she yells out dains and dain replies
“Hey!” And xaden‘s response is
“ you think I didn’t know that”
Do you think that this was him maybe using his 2nd power and finding that out if he is an intenzic, if not, how do you think he found out what dains power is?
Loved this episode. I listen to you guys while on the way to work. I had a theory I thought of while on the way to work…. What if Dain’s Dad killed Violets Dad to get closer to Lillith because he was either secretly in love with her or he is trying to get close to her to see what she know bc he thinks she’s a double agent? Thoughts?
