Bodycam: Law & Order Star Ice-T Goes Off on Cop During Traffic Stop

Ice-T Pulled Over in Heated Traffic Stop

Legendary rapper and actor Ice-T, known for his role as Detective Odafin Tutuola on Law & Order: SVU, was pulled over in New Jersey for what appeared to be a missing front plate on his Porsche. The situation escalated when officers discovered his registration and license were expired. Ice-T, visibly frustrated, recorded the encounter as the officer called for backup. Despite the tense exchange, the actor resolved the issue by paying the fines in full.

Do you think the officer handled the situation fairly, or should they have been more lenient? Let us know your thoughts.

  1. I get it. He could’ve handled this better, but the officer just wanted to escalate escalate escalate. D for Ice T and a C to the cop.

Honesty, I would’ve followed him to the DMV given him a lecture and be done 🤷‍♂️

  2. This cop is a piece of shit! It's not like the car was not legally registered and he didn't have a license, it was just expired. And the piece of shit goes on to lie to the Sargeant, saying "i was going to let him walk to the dmv and then he got so close to me and called me an asshole" but that's all ice t was asking for and the piece of shit said "I'm towing your car" and then understandably ice t got out and wanted his paperwork back. Take him back to the '92 ice t with the body count album

  3. I don't like cops abusing their power but this isn't an abuse of power. Celebs think they're above the law and because they have loads of cash they usually are. If I get moaned at for something I've not done then I'm an arse but If I did do it then I'm polite. It's about time celebs stopped smelling their own farts and patting themselves on the back.

His car would of been instantly carted off and he'd of been pinned to the ground and handcuffed before being chucked in a cop car. This is what would of happened to you or me in the same situation. The sergeant turned up and kissed his celebrity butt for 10 minutes before just turning it into a couple of hundred dollars worth of fines that Ice T probably uses to wipe his own arse in the mornings. Totally different laws for these people.

  4. That fool should have been handcuffed the second he decided to step out of the vehicle. He is detained at that point. Clown with privileges. Inexperience officer but did what he had to do.

  6. He probably doesn’t drive around a lot in his car.
Im thinkin he has people that drive him and he wanted to drive his Porsche but had to update his sht.
The officer thinks it’s weird being expired for so long and doesn’t realize how people with money live.
Ice T gets annoyed and feels the officer is being disrespectful and dragging out the process too much.
I would have said “I usually have drivers, Im trying to get it updated now. You can ticket me if you need to, but Im tryin to get this done today.”

  7. He should've never let his license and registration expire EVER, with his wealth and ( I'm sure some legal connections)…
This was just stupid on T's behalf.
I like him as an actor, but, this was totally unnecessary to be careless.

  8. Not cool on Tee’s entitled end & he lied to the Sarg too, plays a cop on tv but has no respect & his son also cried victim a few years ago online saying the cops told him they hate his dad or something & now we likely know why? Dude just proved he’s a classless self centered piece of crap.

  9. As a police officer you have to be fair and impartial and freedom of speech. Calling him a asshole doesn't constitute towing a or issuing citations. I called the spirit of the law. He could have followed him there.
