The body of 11-year-old Audrii Cunningham was found at a river close to her home. Texas police had been searching for her since she went missing last week. This is so heartbreaking. I’m an investigator with a special interest in violent crimes, missing persons and cybercrimes. It doesn’t matter how many times I see cases like this it continually makes me sick to my stomach. Such a beautiful little girl who now won’t get to grow up to take her place in the world. I also can’t imagine how devastated her family must be. The fact that this wasn’t a stranger but someone this family trusted and let into their lives and home has got to be so hard on her parents. Even though it was in no way their fault, I know from personal experience that they will bear the burden of responsibility upon themselves. Shame and guilt will follow them no matter what. I pray that God will assuage their grief. May he bring them peace,comfort and help them to realise that it was this man alone that was responsible for her death.

These parents are no different than lori vallo the fact that they basically let this man have access for years not sure how long there was for sure abuse going on between this man mcdougal and the child. For god knows how long he's been abusing he didnt just wake up one day and decide to do this out of no where and no signs were ever shown that his interest for the child was apparent.
