  1. There is something very uncanny about this game and I can't help but feel it could have used another pass or two in localization. It is especially jarring when it's a foreign work set you "your" culture.

  2. I genuinely wish little morris the best of luck, but whew, i don't think i could stand playing a character like this for a full game. I do hope the game does well, cause it does look interesting and fun though. Just not for me.

  3. With the holiday yesterday, I wake up and it feels like Monday.
    My calendar says Tuesday.
My subscription feed says it's Wednesday.
    Can we skip Thursday,
    And go straight to Friday?

  4. This game is really depressing. Of course, I'm at a pretty deep low right now, so I guess it hits harder. Sorry Dan, but I can't finish this video. I'll leave a like though. See you on the next one hopefully 🫡

  5. well … I'm now vicariously depressed, dispirited to my bones and maybe even genuinely apathetic. Also sleepy. Even Dan's generally inconquerable upbeat vibes couldn't withstand that flood of down. The tunes were excellent though.

… still gets a thumbs up from me cause seeing games I wouldn't otherwise know about is always a plus. Especially unusual and stylish ones made with some care. That said, I'm going to go have a drink now.

  6. Wow. Despite having very little in common with morris in concrete terms, damn did I empathize a little too hard there. Goin on the list, not to mention I could do with something with this vibe.

  7. As the child of a Jazz Saxophonist/Band Director and a Trombonist myself, a lot of this resonates. You don't really do it for the money but for love of the craft and the joy and enrichment it brings to peoples' lives………but you do have to pay the bills somehow, and doing it through what you love is often difficult if not impossible. Dad went into teaching music as a way to do that, to give kids a creative outlet that would impact their lives and help people see the importance of the arts. His side gigs never made much money, but between his job, them, and playing in our church services, I realize that he was able to live some facsimile of his dream because he kept at it. I hope this encourages anyone reading to do the same.

Also, as you like rhythm games and Jazz, and I like Jazz and narrative games, I humbly request we continue this one in whatever timeframe you have, Dan. After all, a lot of jazz is…Improvisation. XD

  8. Is it even possible to NOT be late? hrm… doooomed, with extra doom. Though.. given that… maybe that gives the freedom to do whatever we want until we get fired, wherever we want, heh.
