  1. This may come off as super negative, but I really can't get behind some of this. They are implementing stuff that mod authors have already done, which is fine and understandable. A good thing even. However they are doing this after throwing a fit and screwing over modders months ago because people were talking about how their game is unplayable without them. I don't really agree one way or another on the base concept, but it feels really slimy to be taking the mods that you seem to disdain so much, and then making them into base game features. It makes sense, but on an emotional level it just feels slimy. I suppose that just means my main issue is with how they have treated modders than the actual implementation of the features.

  3. I hope know since they released the console version of the game the developers are more free to make new content faster.. I want to see them release new armor sets for every faction not just armor pieces I want to see full set for every faction every update.. it might be hard but it will make the wait for an update worthy

  4. "A new horse category called noble horse."
So, camel won't be a separate category?

Also, I was hoping they would add some sort of alert for smithing energy (Player would be informed after smithing energy is restored), but doesn't seem like it.

  5. The game is still far from done in my opinion. It feels like it needs a diplomacy system that feels heavy and important. The game needs a least three times the number of missions in currently has. You should be able to do more with your cities as a lord and more in your cities as you walk about. There need to be way more cute scenes and later game objectives that the player can strive for. Think how awesome it would be to build wonders. Some economic, some military and some that are cultural and buff your kingdom and maybe its armies. I think they need to double the number of armors in the game. Mostly helmets as they can pair with a lot. Fire warfare such as fire arrows, torches and Greek fire (rare). You should be able to make camp on the world map to increase healing and moral and there should be different ways you visit towns. Some camp sites would be better than others. Some building moral while damaging relations with the locals. You should be able to breed horses in certain locations in your kingdom, that way your great great grandson can fight wars on the great great offspring of the war horse you went into battle with. City streets and AI should be affected by the economic situation they are enjoying or suffering on the world map. There needs to be much more diversity in bandits as you fight them so often. You should be able to raid villages in different ways that affect diplomacy and expose you to counter attack at various levels of risk. Alcohol and drugs should be a commodity and boost that certain lords and cultures use. There could be religion buffs and religious wars that bleed between kingdoms forcing the player to make diplomatic decisions based on the layout of faith and not the layout of a kingdom. It other words attacking fellow Muslims or Christians would be unpopular in your kingdom if you are already at war with a competing religion. You should be able to take slave and suffer the down sides of that but also the benefits. Roads should be much more significant. You should be able to wear jewels and war paint that allow certain social buffs or intimidation. They could makes battles less common but more significant. Freeing up time for the leader of a kingdom to do more diplomatic tasks. You should be able to adjust the economic focus of villages with the right investment. Protecting trade routes should be more fun and required. Creating your own custom troops pulling from a much larger and mostly unused armor and clothing pool. Some customization for palaces and castles. Throwing feasts and horse races. Winning over fellow nobles on hunting trips.

Its just lacking soul. There are so many things they could do to make it a well rounded experience and I feel they have the money for it.

  6. The new cutscenes "redefine" the misused term "late game". The late game is conquering two factions and beating the conspiracy. The campaign makes this clear.

Sure, you can conquer all of Calradia, but that is not the late game. It is not even the point of the game. Never was. It is just a possibility for the player to… I don't know why people want to conquer the whole world so much, honestly. :3 Will this shut up those who play sandbox, try to cobquer the world instead of doing something fun and still complain? Nope, but I'm happy to see I was right in doubting that "world conquest = late game".

  7. I'm not too happy with the Full release. there are still plenty of features that seem like they need fixing, not to mention the last patch has broken the game a bit.

They really need to add the ability to tell each formation to attack another formation. Cavalry attack Archers. etc etc. flanking with cavalry just to have them chase some random troop instead of actually do what i need is stupid. their old game did it so why can't this one.

Still a ways to go with some pretty basic things. not sure i'll keep playing if it doesn't change. mods fix the gameplay but make it crash pretty badly
