  2. I have the finishing powder, the peachgasm wand, the flawless filter, and the setting spray and I enjoy them. However, I had the pillow talk pallet and used it a few times then gave it away. Wasn’t impressed with the color story or as you stated the lack of depth.

  9. IMO, another CT dupe for her matte lipstick in “Very Victoria” is also a Milani lipstick,: Milani Color Statement lipstick in “MatteNaked” #61. I personally think it’s spot on with color AND formula (even scent). Ever try it?

  11. Well. A a couple of dupes no one talks about are the Revolution liquid drops primer for the Tilbury one and the Physicians Formula illuminating primer (long before the elf dupe!). No reason to pay such exorbitant prices!M

  12. An excellent alternative to the Pillow Talk quad is the Flower Beauty quad in Gilded Lily. It doesn't have a pink, but the Pillow Talk pink isn't very punchy so the end result looks very similar. I know from experience. I own both. If you want a pink included as well and don't mind a similar price point (for two more shades and WAY more product), look to Wayne Goss's Pearl palette. It regularly does battle with his original Imperial Topaz for my favorite of his palettes. ☺

  13. I used to use a drugstore plum colored eyeliner from Almay I think that might be a dupe for that Pillowtalk eyeliner! It was part of a collection they came out with years ago aimed at contrasting with your eye color, and of course that was the one for green eyes. I think they still make something similar!

  14. I own several lipsticks as I do like her formula. There is something in her undertones that fits me very well. Her wands are great, I also like the pillowtalkshade mascara she has. It pops my eyes. But for a standard black; budget is fine. And I think that is the key in high end. It has to be special for you and your preferences in formula and/or shade to make it worth.

  15. I can’t believe how nobody seems to be talking about how overpriced the elf halo glow is, like not only for the drugstore but for the brand itself too! I would much rather spend the same amount to get the high end version in an amount that I might actually use up.

    Also, I commented on another video but you may not have seen it – I was curious what your source was for Kaja’s cruelty free status? I checked leaping bunny and logical harmony but wasn’t able to find approval from either

  17. I have a lot of the same CT products you do (all in mini size) and all of them except for the Flawless Filter I think are nice but not worth the price (haven't tried the Elf version yet). However, I had a sample of the concealer and it looked really nice so I may pick that up. I'm willing to spend $ to cover up my dark circles haha.

  18. I think the CT quads are way overrated. I think I have two. I bought the first one because I was curious and the second one was the Fire Rose palette that everyone was obsessed with and I was having FOMO 😅 I'll admit that Fire Rose is as beautiful as people said it would be but I still don't think the quads in general are worth $53 seeing as there are better formulas out there that you can get more shades at a better cost, even luxury-wise. ND midi palettes are/were $65 (I haven't bought any at the new price point) and while that's still extremely pricey, you're at least getting 15 shades for really beautiful formulas. Loved hearing and seeing your dupes!

    Edit: As for her lipsticks, even though it's a nice formula, it doesn't "wow" me either. Pillow Talk isn't a favorite shade either lol Honestly, I do love high end lipsticks more than drugstore, but I do really enjoy the Milani formula.
