Which BIG 12 pick do you like the best … the worst?!
Shame on CU for not wanting to be associated with the Nation's flag👎
Go byu . It’s probably because it’s survival and there’s a lot to lose for Byu, but it still makes me nervous
Scattaboo is doubtful for ASU, Pete. UCF found their QB in Rizk. That is most definitely NOT a lock and in fact, if I were a bettor, I'd go UCF.
Oklahoma state will continue to suck they were only good for awhile because they paid their players b4 nil now everyone does it 🌵
I like your picks again!
You don't really understand just how much hatred these two fanbases have for each other and how utah and BYU get up for this game. Either team can be having a horrendous season, but that's OK if they can win the Holy War. Especially if one can spoil the season for the other. Utah could very well win this game and I say that for 2 reasons ; BYU has a way of disappointing its fans. It's like it's in their DNA to screw up a free lunch. You haven't seen BYU over the years do just that. The time they went to Coastal Carolina and messed up a perfect season. Stuff like that. The other reason they could lose this game is because Whit is one heck of a coach. He'll fix whatever the problem is with their offense and the Y's D won't be ready for it and before you know they're down 21 points at half time. We all have seen this scenario play out all too many times and is the reason most long time Y fans are a little pessimistic about why BYU won't get through this season undefeated much less winning the Big 12 title. It would be nice. No one would be happier if they make it to the playoffs undefeated and win out all the way to the National Title Game. But, I stopped watching BYU games live because they just have let me down too many times over the last 30 of so years. We'll see, right?
I think Colorado wins by at least a TD. I’ve said it on other videos since last week. Tech is getting waaaaayyy too much overreaction. Iowa State had nine drives that got inside the Tech 35 and only scored 22 points. Iowa State moved the ball and actually stifled Tech’s offense. That hands to the face penalty that took away a pick inside the Tech red zone basically saved the game.
I think Baylor and TCU games are way more indicative of who Tech really is. Being at home is the only thing that could make this a Tech W but I think the Buffe shred that defense and actually score unlike the crap Iowa State pulled against them.
I made a monster bet on UCF ML. It’s my unlock of the week. I can see either team win a close one though.
it’s an insult to ASU fans for you to refer to ASU as Arizona! It shows a lack of respect; do you mistakenly refer to Kansas State as Kansas? Hell do!!
This is a big game in Cincinnati this week after the Colorado lose, and West Virginia is already a rival although this is one of the few games they've played each other in a fairly long time. West Virginia is just a little bit up river from us like Pitt and a border state of Ohio. It may mean a little more to UC than WV because we also recruit the same areas and Satterfield is trying to build his legacy here,… for the next couple of years at least. If he isn't able to bring in some hardware here he's headed back to assistant somewhere,….so! This will be big for both schools on Saturday.
Tech fan here. I’m worried about Saturday’s game. As you explained, CU is a horrible matchup for us. I sense a blowout in favor of the buffs.
The three things keeping me hopeful are 1) thank goodness it’s at home 2) McGuire’s teams have played their best football in November 3) Tahj could absolutely dominate this game and wear down their defense, thus opening opportunities for shots down the field.
My prediction is that Colorado is going to open up big and have a substantial lead at the half. I think tech will slowly work their way back in the second half, but it won’t be enough.
I'm pulling for Texas Tech……but I can't see them beating the Buffs.
I dis agree with you're underdog pick, I will take Kansas to upset an over rated and over hyped Iowa ST…played against only 1 offense with a good qb, that was baylor and they got picked apart..
We seem to thrive in that underdog mentality. Go Tech ! 👆🏼
I'd like to know how our tv numbers are doing. With this many relevant teams this lare in the season surely the media is liking our numbers.
Love the show Pete. But check your notes a third time – UCF does NOT do a good job getting sacks
Utah thought they were too good for the Big 12 during the summer. How does that crow taste, Ute fans?
1. Cam Skattebo is listed as doubtful to questionable to play. He’s half of ASU’s Offensive production
2. UCF has played better defense as the season moves forward, and is decent against the rush,
3. New DC and new OC and a new QB have brought a totally new look and tempo to the team. It does not suffer from the slowness and inability to pass that allowed teams to stack the box… preventing
3. RJ Harvey will have space to run, and run? And run
4. UCF has a chip on its shoulder, and has to beat a good ASU to earn any real respect this season
IF Cam doesn’t play, UCF has a decent chance
Scattebo is doubtful for ASU.
I like this format for Picks! you're rounding into midseason form.
You are aware Dillingham said Skattebo is questionable for this game. He hurt his shoulder but Chris Karpman for ASU's 247 site thinks he will play and I do to. He would have to be on his death bed to not play. UCF has a great RB but ASU grades 25th in run defense? Sam Leavitt as a redshirt QB is exponentially better progression wise than the game at Texas Tech with 300 passing in Stillwater. Probably over the rib issues. A coaching staff in turmoil starting your fourth QB, that is a redshirt freshman with like one start on the road? No loses at home this year for ASU.
Go Sun Devils……………………..
Red Raiders kick-ass, book it!! Guns up!
hoping asu & cu win out, but:
ucf win-cover at tempe:
• ucf d' faces an asu-like offense everyday in practice.
• asu qb1 playing w still-injured ribs.
• skattebo & devils' best LB r out hurt.
TT@cu? gut-feel guess: cu wins track meet shootout vs tech. like tech@az game, except cu has better LOS play, skill players & better overall d' than '24 arizona.
am 'sports-wrong' a lot. 2 preseason, big12 fb guesses I nailed? '24 az ⬇️ & '24 cu being in top-3 or top-4 in big12.
Skattebo is out for the ASU UCF game
Colorado dominated Tech in the trenches so you nailed it on your “sack” point.
BYU is going to lose to Kansas and Arizona State they won't be going to the college playoffs and they won't be going to the conference Championship game
