My best friend who I known for 50 years lives in Texas not by choice .His wife's job moved them there. He really likes the town that they live in. However he says that the people who live in the surrounding area are insane. They don't obey traffic lights, stop signs, lines on the roadway. It's just everybody for their self. He says as soon as his wife can retire. They are outta Texas.

i can't say for which intersection, but i am actually designing a signal for one of these intersections
10:48 From a right-of-way legal standpoint it looks like you have a yield sign and you aren't entering the intersection that's controlled by the green light. The semi isn't going through the intersection controlled by the signal, either, and he also has a yield sign, so it would come down to who crossed the stop line first. Since he's past the yield sign before you cross your stop line he would have right of way.
From a common sense standpoint you should easily deduce that something that large going at the speed it was going is going won't be able to maneuver before you can cross its path and it will to have to turn wide because of its length. You're in a much smaller vehicle that can easily stop and avoid the semi that you should be able to clearly see right in front of your windshield.
I wonder if cameras are making these jokes more confident in escalating situations. They want content to send in but end up showing how aggressive they are. The second guy’s insurance company was right, he should have braked. Let people in even if it’s your right of way. That’s how you avoid more road rage and accidents that don’t need to happen.
