In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.

Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don’t always put a positive spin on humanshumanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

  4. First story definitely has "part 1" vibes, hopefully there will be a part 2. The second story… well, there's a reason soldiers aren't supposed to salute officers in a combat area, since it clues any snipers who the leaders are. This sergeant is a saluting fiend!

  25. Can relate to the 2nd, both in uniform and out. I had a colleague who transferred out of my office, leaving two extremely dusty and time sensitive cases under his blotter, because he didn't know how to do part of the job. He was later promoted to manager of a regional department.
