Do you or anyone else in the comments have any recommendations for side view cameras that would work with these systems ? Or just any good side view cameras all around my car in case it gets broken into or keyed
Are there any solutions for rear facing dashcam modules for pickup trucks? I can't put one on my back window because I have a soft topper, then if the bed has a lot of items, there won't be a view to record. Possibly a rear license plate bracket mount?
Nice informative video….. I am using the BlackVue DR900x 2 channel Plus. I like the camera, it works well, fairly slim, I barely even see it mounted behind mr mirror. However, the app is complete trash. The old app was better, not great. The newer app pushes you toward subscribing to the cloud service, and makes it a hassle to use without it. Downloading videos to your camera roll is a pain as well, you have to save it to the zoo, then to your camera roll, and its not at all clear how or very user friendly.

I kept waiting for your windshield to crack when you were hitting it 🙂 I drive those same roads in mill creek, 405 and highway 9 going into Snohomish and know all the trucks and traffic that kick up rocks to chip my windshield. Besides that I think you sold me on the Viofo 139.. been looking at it but have been on the fence. You're review was solid and gave other options if I was looking for my dashcam to do extra things. The Viofo is in the upper end but not the top and with the new Sony starvis 2 sensor for me it's the best option.

Viofo 139 Pro 2Ch is JUNK! – stopped recording after one day, probably overheated. Didn't start in the morning, WiFi is visible, but does not connect to the phone , no longer responds to the memory card out, reset button didn't change anything. They don't provide SD card supplied – another 100$ on top of 350$ price tag. So happy I installed it in the summer and can still return it. NO MORE VIOFOs – EVER
Best dash cam’s of 2023 and zero mention of Garmin… hmm.. lol!
External battery: The suggested models are very expensive. I can get a powercell for about $100.

Major questions, built in battery vs hardware vs cigarette lighter, wifi 4g, 5g, 2.5 vs 5ghz vs Bluetooth to cell. My 3rd Cam is going back to amaz. Im assuming $250 is lowest price you can go on 3 channel, inside is really the only camera i want, for safety side job
I bought as seen on tv $89, pos. Then a 3 channel Wolfbox i07, total junk.

I bought the viofo 129 plus based on your reviews and it is just horrible. It won’t work with iPhone the app has horrible reviews it won’t download videos without locking up the support is awful .
I've only used front dash cams, so this maybe a dumb question, but will ask anyway. Does the rear cam need wired connection or does it work thru wi-fi, therefore not needing to be wired?
