  1. I like how you start off with the street bob, I have the 114, if I release the clutch at 2k, it does an infinite burnout. The Vulcan is 620 lb and 900 cc yikes.. I'm a little under 650.

  2. I bought a 2012 honda shadow spirit for my first bike 4 years ago. I figured I would upgrade at some point but I just love this bike so much…I just keep riding it.

  3. M109 1800vtwin was my first bike…I dont recomend it as a first bike but it was AWESOME!!!! (I was 35yrs old so a little maturerer(?) than a 20 year old) and had never ridden before passing my test.) Had a few bikes now but this is still my fav!

  4. The shadow is watercooled. None real vintage bike is watercooled, all af them are air cooled. the real thing is Yamha XVS650 for beginners, and next step si XV1600 / XV1700 Roadstar

  5. I am between super meteor and t120. I think I am leaning more towards the super meteor 650 here just because it has so much more soul. Currently I have a classic 350 and its a beautiful bike very soul feeding but just lacks a bit of power. 650 on the other hand might just be enough to do it all

  6. I rode a C50 for years until I traded it in for a Road King. I like the Road King fine but I wish I would have kept the C50. Not that the Harley has given me any problems but the Boulevard was tried and true. Never a single issue. I had it dressed out like Road King Classic and until I was right up on someone the only thing that gave away as a metric bike was the obvious sound. I gotta say. I loved that bike.

  7. When the c50 was only an intruder 700/750/800 It actually was fast because it only weighed 420 lb wet and it had more rear wheel horsepower than a 883. Harley and they had a better lean angle than the Harley a carburetor for each cylinder. A mainly speaking on the intruder here but the intruder was the fastest out of all the 750 800 900 cruisers in the 80s and '90s. Read a shootout on the middleweight cruiser from that time. And they'll tell you the intruder 750 walked away from everything even the sportster… That was actually the slowest lol… But then metric cruises got really heavy because they wanted to be more like HD… Google intruder 750 i find 63 hp or 55hp assuming 63 is at the crank. It was because they were trying to pump out power out of it.. somehow the 800 has less horsepower unless they started rating them differently after 1992. I don't know but at 420 lb 63 at the crank it does 110

  8. I took the moto training course and bought a 03 Electra Glide Standard. I won’t deny the first day it was tough because it’s heavily and has a lot of power.(I never really expected going from training on a 400cc to a 1449cc being that big of a difference but there is lol.) Luckily I reminded myself to just be relaxed and by the next day I rode it pretty dang good. Yeah some of my turns were a bit wide but after a bit of practice I got the hang of it. I’d stall it at least once a day but after a week I had no issue.

Note: I’m 5’11, 280lbs so for me I felt comfortable enough purchasing a bike like that. I would not recommend someone small riding something like that. You will get hurt

  9. Got the Yamaha Stryker for 8k as my first bike, about 1300cc i believe. Love this one man, it is a lil slow though, topped mine out at around 110mph on google maps (bikes speedo is about 10 over what im actually doing). Would definitely recommend for other beginners from my limited experience lol

  11. None of this bikes… best first bike is a SuperCub, those Bikes are heavy (instead of Rebel 300) and a heavy bike is never the best bike for a beginner… look for a bike under 300lb always… Look for a Honda dealer and you will find a lot of small bikes for your first year…

  12. For any beginner, I HIGHLY recommend a used bike right off the bat. Sure, I know folks who bought full dressers for their first bikes, but I would say that is not the greatest idea. Save yourself a ton of money and depreciation and look for any of the Big 4 Japanese makes & models like the ones covered in this video. They run forever and are bullet proof. Unless you have a Triumph, Royal Enfield, Ducatti, or Boneville dealer right near your house where you can get parts and repairs done, stick with the Japanese bikes.

  13. I will never believe in the concept of a "beginner bike." Anyone can learn on anything. It makes no sense to waste thousands on a bike that you'll be ready to sell in 6 months, and very likely 3 months. Motorcycles are not inanimate objects. They don't take off on their own. There's one feature that makes ANY motorcycle safe or unsafe- the mind of its rider. Buy the bike you want FIRST, and spend the thousands you saved on gear.

  14. Buy your first and only Harley in your life after you have been riding bikes for over 50 years, and have 3 to 4 years left of riding because you are getting too old to ride. Thats what I did.
