I always say I want to be able to kill a tough enemy first try but then I leave feeling deflated because it was too easy.
Then I get to a really difficult boss and I’m pissed again and want to kill it in one try.

To escape the trap at 3:00 I’m not 100% sure but if you spam the triggers you get out faster I haven’t upgraded my vigor but I saw this tip and tried it and it worked for me

R2 attacks cause stagger poise hits. 5 or 6 successful R2 hits in a short time cause the enemy to break poise and go into a repost position. This is why the rapier weapons are OP af.
