  1. Reminds me a bit of the Aurora 4X battles…but with graphics and maybe a tad simplified. Would be great if this was combined with the general empire management and logistics management that Aurora 4X has to offer.

  2. It is not about learning curve. It is about common sense. EWAR cloud meant to jam electronic stuff from working so use it on your enemies not yourself. Using large capital ship gun and try to hit small agile fighters….idk what is the thought process behind that. Wasting large dmg gun on stuff about to die and many other things. If the missiles are lock on to you then move behind objects take cover or even better if you put the enemy’s fleets in between you and the missles.

  3. Thats pretty much Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, more than gothic armada. Still it looks interesting and I hope we can also experiment with different technology being available so we dont have lasers in my expanse game 😀

  4. I am going to say something you definitely already realized but MAN please fix your audio mixing. Your voice is completely on the left side. You can fix this in edit easily but it makes it really hard to watch on YouTube.

  5. I think those missile purple line indicators need to be tweaked. Maybe make them smaller, not moving, and less like burst lasers in their look? Maybe more white and less purple.

  6. I like "there's too much transit, things are too spaced out" juxtaposed with the incredibly cautious maneuvering and spending time taking out immobile canisters. You still got me wanting this game though!

  7. Been looking for something like this. I hope the sound effects get CHONKY though. That is one of my favorite aspects of Armada 2, everything sounds so heavy and big. Not sure how I feel about the laser effect before they fire, the kind of running strobe effect. I get why it's there but if there was something a bit more subtle.

Very excited though, got it wishlisted and eagerly awaiting. Not enough space games with broadside combat.

  8. They should have stuck with the 'yellow' for armor bar. It's been pretty standard for games for a while. Just usu pops from the back color and in different from the generic blue/green for Shields/HP.

  9. It's worth noting the sound effects in this game do function!

However, you need to actually turn them up/on in the audio options menu, because for some reason they're are really low/minimal levels by default?

  10. I downloaded the demo and it drove me WILD that the number keys didn't activate the various powers/weapons. Ugh. Pressing one needs to queue up the move action, etc. Super vital.

  11. I checked out this demo and found that there actually are sound effects. the default sound sliders are just really low. after dropping the music and maxing out everything else, I could then hear the weapon effects and ship captains talking. only gone through the first tutorial, but has me intrigued enough to add to the wishlist
