This is actually abhorrent. At least in Gotham Knights, Bruce went down swinging and took down the villain he was fighting into the process. This… feels deliberate. Like a pointed attack against the character.

More than a disrespect to the character, they take pleasure in disrespecting the consumer, laughing at those who played the Arkham series, bringing Batman back just to kill him. Pathetic and egomaniacal developers who consider themselves morally superior to the original creators, "improving" others' works based on their own distorted worldview. The old Rocksteady is dead! Its creators left, I will never give another penny to these clowns, and I recommend you to do the same.
Either it's the one of the funniest thing the pre-James Gunn regime has ever done (they really have screwed their own legacy characters multiple times like f*** such as the infamous Mustache Gate, that 'MARTHA' moment, Superman snaps Zod's neck, the ghoulish Flash CGI and cameos, Orm eating a cockroach in his sandwich in the DCEU's very last movie, and so on and on 😅), or the saddest thing I've ever witnessed (seriously, I really love Kevin Conroy and his take as Batman; BTAS is the reason I'm working in the animation industry today…😭)

So Rocksteady say this is the same universe & this Batman is the one we've been through a lot of shit together all those years. And they treat THIS piece of cutscene-dogshit as canon. But they still don't pay any attention to the brilliant first encounter between Batman & Joker in Origins, saying it's just Elseworlds…

Honestly with Rumors of new potentially "Arkham batman" games flying around now. I really hope they go the route of showing the fall out from this game. With a Battle for the Cowl game. Imagine a Game where Nightwing is forced to fill Batmans role in Gotham with Oracle helping after Batman and Robins death. Dick is finding it difficult to deal with it because Gotham villains are going crazy with Batman dead. Finally Alfred and Oracle convince Nightwing to take uo the Cowl after some other more violent "Batmen" (Azrael and/or Red Hood) have taken up the cowl. Then after Dick takes up the cowl Daiman Wayne shows up he eventaully becomes Robin.
I think despite how this game doesn't have a great story and kills batman off unceremoniously i think a follow up could build off this in a good way

No one actually listend to what Harley said . The Batman they just killed was fake. She even says the real Batman would have wanted this.
This was the most insulting and unacceptable treatment to Batman ever. Killing him off and having the bad guys be the ones who save the world?
This makes my head spin with anxiety and anger so much, that I refuse to play this game at all. You screwed up BIG TIME Rocksteady. Especially with Kevin’s final performance.

The part that triggers my anger in this game is this edgy thing, ''Look at us we are the bad guys and we are saving the world now, look how cool we are'', i mean if i was a bad guy and the fucking justice league was been defeated and the world is being invaded by a fucking alien i would'nt be doing moral speechs or funny jokes all the time, i think the number 1 mistake on this game is the tone, should be more dark and less fancy
Rocksteady is going to sink like Volition. They’re spitting on what made them great in the first place. The writers and developers swung and missed by miles.
