Been-there-done-that, our old man taking us down that road. ran out of water, found a rest stop with hand water pump. We filled our canteens and containers with strong smelling egg water. It tasted the same. We finally came to exit almost out of gas and out of water. Did not see one live person out there. I did see one dead person sitting in a chair in front of a large tent and a few bones with horns along the way. I can see fear in my old man's eyes in the review mirror. We was traveling in a station wagon.
