With this war hitting many gridlocks, I've pondered about what could be done? I'm curious if (since Ukraine is lacking air superiority) Maybe a approach that uses highly mobile vehicles that can give Ukrainians a chance to overwhelm, advance, in urban areas. Tanks and artillery will still be there but i wonder if they organized a ton of planned out advancements with a bunch of vehicles that could aid the troops in faster movement. Making it harder for artillery to hit, and it could give them a chance to pull off some strategies to beat back the Russians in certain locations. (I wish the world would do whatever it takes to help Ukraine because this is without a doubt the biggest most important war since WW2. No matter what these things effect everything everywhere no matter what we try and think.. everything has trickle down effects. Russia should not get away from attacking Ukraine and commiting all these war crimes..) and remember: Ukraine gave over all their nuclear weapons to Russia with the promise of Russia will respect Ukraine as a country and not attack them. *That's one of the most messed up back stabbing someone situations possible. Especially with how Russia has targeted so many innocent civilians and civilian locations…

Yes, we meet same terroristic threat as Israel meets but in difference from Israel who fights against rebels, Ukraine fights against very strong and biggest in the world by territory and resources terroristic country, has a permanent frontline, who has support from other dictator regimes: China, Northern Korea, Iran, Belarus, Syria etc. They take shells and drones from above mentioned countries and creating chaos everywhere in the world. Not only in Ukraine, Israel’s borders and 15 countries of the Africa. But also in Central Asia and partially in South America.
as said before the outcome of this war is determinate on who wins the USA 2024 electons. Either way on who wins in 2024 USA elections, war ends in 2025, both sides cut their losses. If Trump wins, war ends in a korean war style armistice with the Russians controlling 10 to 20 percent of Ukraine and Putin regime surviving. if Biden wins, knowing that the Russian economy cant stand 4 more years of war, the Russian elites overthrown Putin and his inner circle. completely withdraw from Ukraine including crimea in exchange for total lifting of all sanctons, and restoration of normal relations with teh west, and possibly even economic aid from the west trying to stop a economic collapse.

The fact that they can’t rotate their units speaks to how thinly they’re actually stretched. It also speaks to how incredibly hard it is to dislodge a dug and determined enemy specially if that enemy is near peer to one’s own military

The people of modern day forget that ww2 lasted from 1939 to1945, it was that long so there is a chance that this war will last just as long
Funnily enough the USA has spent less than $100 billion on Ukraine. A lot of which was older equipment that was costing more to store than to ship to Ukraine for service. Which means freed up dollars for more new equipment for the US Military and incidentally, a greater understanding on how to design and build that equipment too.
And mind you, that's not counting total Russian losses which are likely in excess of $100 billion when you stop and think about it.
Also, despite being old, a lot of that older US Military equipment is superior to what Ukraine had before and is either equal to or better than what Russia is fielding or starting to field. Which in turns helps to keep Ukrainian losses lower and make Russian losses higher.
Frankly, there is nothing better the US could send in a timely manner and what is better is going to be needed for fighting those more competent PLA units and Ukraine is excused from fighting in Asia and the Pacific. They got a war at home to worry about, then the demining, and then reconstruction. Frak, war really is something you got to be mad to love.
