  1. * Ground Commanders Logs #00 *

"If you ask me, the whole blasted operation was a mess. First you mean to tell me mission critical artillery was just * left * on the planet? Then what, some rookie logistics officer too hung over from bantha blasters relayed the wrong hyperspace codes to the ground army? I'm sure the Hutts appreciated the lengthy prep time… nearly took us half a damned rotation to gather up all our transports. By the time we started our decent, every tree was filled with some horrific creature complaining about a late lunch.

I tell you, the fancy new toys high command sends us have been getting to the boy's heads. I'm sure the Hutts' pets won't appreciate chewing on reinforced metal, but their entrenched turbolasers and Old Republic gun platforms sure enjoy the easy target practice. I tell you, the most organized person there was that Wookie rushing through the wall of blasters and hurling himself up the legs of that walker… he grew to be a sort of mascot for the platoon, but seeing even him getting torn apart by a 3 story grasshopper really shook up the men.

If anything will remind the boys to go into a fight with a clear head, it's this

  2. Hello found your channel three days ago, and I have come to enjoy how you have lead the rebellion thus far against the hutts and the sun's. But I have come to notice that you have not been doing cruiser or frigate tech research. Is there no need or are you saving it for later?

  3. That was awesome! 💯👍🏽
Watching the MeatGrinder at Nimban was so Cool! Watching the army get ground down was 1 of the peaks of the series, for me 🥺😈👏🏽

  4. I would recomend a fleet of bakura destroyers with dodona, complement it with some a-wings for fighter coverage and y-wings if something of priority remains. this fleet would acomplish something similar to what you want to do with the cr-90s but better equiped to hit targets of far higher tonage.

  5. I like this mod but I've noticed that the Empire tends to spam carriers and ground ties to a ridiculous degree. And since most unit descriptions don't give good short summaries of what their good at its been hell for my Rebel campaign trying to find a good anti fighter that won't just die immediately in space and I have no idea what ground units are considered anti air. Not to mention the fact that I've been getting alot of glitches lately. Like Mon Mothma being in a space battle or a rescue mission for Liea when she's still alive. Like the mod just want some things tweaked. Oh and have an easy mode. Why playing a game on easy is considered a sin now I have no idea. Especially when your playing a mod that changes gameplay with every update. Having an easy difficulty would make getting a feel for the mechanics so much easier and quicker.

  6. I love the shipyard hunting missions, over the course of my rebellion campaign I must have gotten 6 venetors cause I remember bringing them all as part of the fleet to Endor and it was amazing having the long range firepower against the executor

  7. The Empire is patient… They have watched while the rebellion and the pirates have attacked each other. The Empire is growing… they have research programs and massive battle ship that will soon bring order the this unruly galaxy. The Empire will be ready soon…..

  8. I like U-wings and scout parties for Nal Hutta. You've got the tech for it, and they seem proficient at shutting down turbolasers. Rancors and Acklays can't reach them, so all you'd really have to worry about is AA turrets. AA can be shut down by tauntaun riders for a second, allowing the U-wings to approach, and then the U-wings can keep the AA suppressed from there. With turrets and turbo lasers handled by your air and scouts, you just need to push through the ground units, so whatever you think might work there, maybe mixed suppression teams and heavy tanks to slow down the monsters and then take chunks out of them. U-wings should slow down any speeders or tanks the enemy have as long as your scouts do okay at running up and disabling the AA. You've got 8-10 unit cap starting, so I'd say 2 U-wings, 2 scout teams, and then split the rest evenly between tanks and suppression teams. All told, might be pretty painless.

Then again, what do I know?

  9. hey howdy ho Captain Shack !
This is a official Request to have the music on the PA reduced in volume. Now i understand that these are some of your favorite galactic hits, but its starting to affect the accuracy of some of the gunners and maintenance crew as some tracks volume seems to be much greater than others and it is jarring for some of the crew. Now don't get me wrong its great music but just really loud great music and if you could have one of the Comms officers tune it down it would be wonderful.

    Sincerely the crew <3

  10. I wonder if it would be feasible to add a "blockade running" feature to the mod, where when you send in a combat fleet in with ground forces as the rebellion, during the space battle a waypoint appears, and if you can get ground troops to this waypoint, it will start a ground battle immediately afterwards with those same ground forces, even if your space forces retreat.

I just think that would be a mechanic so apt to the Rebellion.
