AVATAR: The Way of Water (2022) New Adventure Movie Recap here. In this story, Jake is a contented man who lives on Pandora with his family, but their world is invaded one day by humans in a spaceship. Humans are able to transform into the powerful Na’vi people using advanced technology and wreak havoc on Pandora, killing many creatures and hunting them for sport. They also want to kill Jake and extract a valuable liquid from the planet’s giant monsters. Jake, his children, and the other members of the green-skinned tribe use flying and swimming creatures, as well as a sad giant creature, to stop the humans’ violence. Meanwhile, armed with advanced weapons, the Colonel seeks vengeance on the innocent avatars for his own gain. The Pandora people struggle to survive as Jake’s wife Neytiri loses one of her children and witnesses the deaths of her loved ones. Despite everything, they are determined to fight for their world and way of life.

Listening to the story itself play out, it's really not bad at all. It's not nearly as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be
