Summary :-
Op used to live with her mom and dad. Once her mom passed away, her dad turned into a different person whom Op wasn’t able to recognize. He was turning into a hot-tempered person who also got involved in gambling. Op’s dad, Richard, disagreed with Op’s choice of boyfriend as he would usually pick fights with them. He almost destroyed Op’s love life before Op finally found Josh–her husband. OP gave Richard an ultimatum to leave gambling. She asks him to also behave well since she plans to bring Josh home to meet Richard.
Richard expresses his dislike for Josh then and there. He belittles Josh as well so when after one year Op hears her husband speaking to her dad, she finds it suspicious. She waits for Josh to tell her about what’s going on but Josh never does. She decides to follow him one after she sees that Richard has called Josh to meet him. Josh goes to a bar and vanishes behind a shelf. She is confused but she also wants to know the truth. Later they have a fight as Josh refuses to tell her the truth and Op decides to leave the house.
As she is at her friend’s house, she receives a call from the police station. When she reaches, she finds Josh there who was trying for the bail of Richard. Richard was caught when the police went to raid the aforementioned bar. There were illegal activities going inside the bar. Op is furious so she confronts her father. Richard creates a ruckus and almost injures the present police officer. He is arrested and teh bail is denied. Later, Josh admits to tell her the truth and once he does, Op decides to cut ties with her father.
Richard is found guilty and is sent to prison but he doesn’t go that easily. He does something awful in the court as well which increases his imprisonment period. Richard blames Josh for everything that happened to him. Op confronts Josh and he admits that he had informed the police about the illegal activities in the bar.

I think her husband did the right thing. Because of op’s anxiety attacks, he tried to help his fil, but did call for the raid. She should forgive him. However, if it comes out that he was the informant, they should move away because he may be retaliated against.

OP complains too much. She complains because of her anxiety attacks, not being told everything, and then not having the guts to just ask what is going on. Her husband was trying to protect her. She was sneaking arounfmg just like husband. There would have been less stress on everyone if they had just brought it out into the open.
The wife is an A+ a** hole for not understanding how her husband tried to spare her feelings knowing how she is. The husband needs to leave her.

She should have had some faith and trust in her husband. I think it's ridiculous for her to say he has to regain her trust when he was trying to protect her, even though it may not have been the right way to go about things.

Well that's a shady situation I mean I have anxiety problems myself and yes I have been in a situation where I was taking advantage of and my boyfriend really didn't know how to handle it he thought he was doing the right thing and in truth it was not the right thing but if he had took the route that he should have took I probably would have snapped at him which I was already doing so in all honesty I kind of think OP could have just I don't know I guess opie's boyfriend or husband should have told her what was going on but then again if I was in that situation I wouldn't want my husband telling me what was going on until the last minute so that's a very shady situation and only OP and her husband would know what was the right move

No one really knows how they'll act in the same situation. Yeah, we can say we would've done this, that and the other but until we are, it's just talk. OP's husband did, imo, the best he could given the situation and OP's mental and emotional issues. And to be perfectly honest, it wasn't even his responsibility. It was hers since she refused to cut her father out of her life.
