For a look at the news from around the world, we now turn to our Matthew Ashley joining us here in studio. Good morning.

Good morning.

Let’s start in Brazil where dozens have been killed in the country’s southeast following floods and landslides that tore through coastal towns.
That’s right At least 36 people have been killed and hundreds have been displaced in Sao Paolo state since the weekend. 35 of the deaths were in San Sebastiao and one person died in the neighboring town of Ubatuba.
But the death toll is expected to climb as rescuers attempt to find survivors trapped in some 50 buildings that have collapsed in the wake of the disaster.
The governor of Sao Paolo has declared a state of emergency in five of its hardest-hit coastal towns.
According to officials in San Sebastiao the floods were triggered after the area saw a record 600 millimeters of rainfall in just 24 hours.
Meanwhile, carnival events in affected areas have been canceled.

  1. Think of the biggest and scariest beast you could ever meet. Now god has created one in the past and destroyed it just to prove to people how powerful, justified and holy he is . When you mock him you are condemning yourself in our own ignorance. You don’t fully understand that’s why we must humble ourselves and obey his holy commandments, if we did that this would be heaven on earth.
