So many people down here crying about how many years of guaranteed updates there are as if there’s a meaningful difference between 2 and 3 years. They’re both arbitrary and far shorter than they should be. If there comes an Android exploit outside of 2 years (note: Asus said ‘at least’ 2 years), Asus will patch it because they do not want to end up in court over it.
Don’t nitpick over a bullshit made-up standard that isn’t good enough from either Samsung/Google or any other Android phone producer—they’re all way behind Apple. You know damn well watching this video you probably get rid of your phone before 2 years is up anyway. If security and longevity means this much to you, you wouldn’t even entertain android phones in the slightest. Apple supports their phones for what, 7 years? iOS is the most secure widely-used OS in existence. Apple cares so much about security that they told the FBI to fuck off when they asked for a backdoor (because they don’t have one) into criminal’s phone, and then when they learned that the FBI had already done it anyway, Apple immediately patched it.
This phone having a headphone jack proves that Apple, Samsung and the like are bullshitting about not being able to include one in their phones due to space constraints or water resistance.
Unfortunately, if i am not wrong this phone is not launching in India 😓 From the time i started to get interest in smartphones Asus phones were , which I always dreamed of ….
Again if i am not wrong ROG is the only Asus phone Available in India. Asus should provide some budget friendly smart phones and launch in India for Asus fans like me 😌
I really liked this Phone , Asus have come up with a Cute Little Monster 💥
nope. no os support, small camera sensor that's why it takes a 3 sec night mode shot, aperture not wide enough,ff camera sux. i hope they release a better phone, a flip phone like they always do.
ASUS needs a better approach to OS updates, especially at that price point. Other than that, this device is stellar if you want power in a compact form factor.
I consider this to be the best phone to be released lately, only Sony and Asus offer these features now, like real fingerprint reader and headphone jack, but the Sony is way more expensive. And it’s compact also, deal
why don't use snapdragon 870 or snapdragon 7 gen 1 too cut the price 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ this is gonna be fail again, asus and sony doesn't know how to fit the market.
Pre-ordered this phone yesterday since mi Xiaomi 9T was slowly dying for the past 4 months and I was badly looking for a replacement, but the iPhone wasn't worth it's price and I don't want to get into apple infrastructure, the Xiaomi 12X was badly underdelivering in the camera department and the curved screen edges is a nuisance, and the Samsung S22 has a tiny battery, while Asus Zenfone 9 ticks all the boxes. Waiting for Aug 18th for mine to arrive!
I wish ASUS had like Zenfone 9 lite with Gen7
This is a great Jokes, Price 800 euro but only 2 software update support😁
Price 250/300 Euro is good,
Easily the Android phone of the year and it’s not remotely close.

Make it 3 years of updates and you have a sale
The camera section is not extraordinary. But I'm really in love with this phone.
man why did asus just had to go with 2 years of updates???
So great to see a compact 2022 flagship for a not insanely high price!
Out of context: Is this guy gay?
This phone having a headphone jack proves that Apple, Samsung and the like are bullshitting about not being able to include one in their phones due to space constraints or water resistance.
Still waiting for Marshmallow on my Zenfone 2….
Finally a compact beast

I like this phone 📱
What's the price of this phone????
Please do the camera review
Gift one of these to me…the black one is preferred
Stop complaining about these updates like your life depends on them, god damn it.
Gorgeous, but too small.

Will there be flip version?
I like that Asus didn't give up the concept of a solid compact
phone! The Zenfone 9 looks like a better version of the predecessor. Nice job Asus! 👏

Love the compactness. Would even loved it more if the OS support lasted longer….
Tech Doctor is using your video in his review

I just bought a 1 year old release OnePlus 9. 2 days before this was released. Would have gone with this one for sure
Amazing! I really would want one of these if the price is good
Ok, this Asus phone looks amazing.

Hdmi video output???
I'm so hyped for this phone. I've got notifications set on Asus' site for when it's available in the US. I'm ordering one immediately.
No wireless charging? 🧐
