I had a feeling we would score but was getting worried there keeper had a worldie and there captain was solid Mcginn to the rescue UTV
We did the job. They had a plan, they could have scored but we got the win we deserved.

The win covers up that poor performance. Not sure how serious Villa are about doing well in this competition
A dour game that proved it takes our Captain to headbang it in to score the winner. Villa are off and running in Europe which l believe will settle the nerves. It will take time to get used to playing European teams who commit to that low block all game but Villa will get better as time goes on l've no doubt.
One major improvement is the never say die attitude and win the game at all costs an Unai Emery trait, but as l said the team will get better.
Teilemans is a genuine worry, he gave the ball away too many times and Dendonker, oh my … l do believe there will be some Jan transfer movements as the team does need to upgrade for certain.
But a wins a win and l'm happy, 3 points and away we go in Europe.
