  1. Loved this video, Matthew. I watch a lot of your old videos because I like the ones that interest me. I like the wiki videos but not all of them are interesting topics. Maybe try some wiki topics of strange or unusual things. 👍

  2. Awesome work as usual Matt. So glad you're thinking about going after this endeavor full-time – I support you completely and know you will succeed. Success = good product + good marketing. Your product is pure gold ; Both rare + unique (others can try to make ASMR content but the videos aren't as good as yours) – now it's just figuring out the marketing part. Here's a few tips you may already know to help your journey.

    – For something to count as a view, the viewer must watch 30 seconds of the video. Usually with ASMR content people do not skip around as much as they do normally, so your 30 seconds to focus on is the first 30 seconds. This is why I recommended earlier to put the super entertaining / funny bits that keep attention within the first part of the video. Focusing on this tip alone can double or triple your views – focus on retaining attention the first 30 seconds to maximize views from your product.

    – I think you are focusing too much on subscribers + amount of videos instead of keeping the same uploading pace (once or twice a week which I think is perfect) and refining the marketing plan for each one of your videos. This means putting more effort into the titles, thumbnails, and timing of your release, as well as possibly creating pre-release content during the week like youtube shorts that hint at the next video so we get excited, or more community posts to guide the channel or give you ideas.

Also take into consideration that the more subscribers you have that DONT watch your videos, the less value your channel has to the algorithm and your marketing will take a hit because of it.

Also take into consideration that the more videos you have that DONT do well, the less value your channel has to the algorithm and your marketing will take a hit because of it.

The key is to try to make every new video get more views than the last. Subscriber requests are great, but don't do them if they are going to net low views – it hurts your channel ranking in the algorithm.

For the title – choose viral words, not generic ones. The first words have heavier weight than the last words of the title – put the most viral words first.

For the thumbnail – choose something that makes people want to click. You making a funny face, a situation of a scene that is so ridiculous that we need to click to see what it is, etc. – I would use your face here so the subscribers know its you and you dont miss any views from your subscribers because the vid looks like all the other vids in their feed.

Cheers – genuinely rooting for you all the way Matt; Take this channel to the stars, you deserve it my friend.
