8:15 the harder you try to have hot takes, the worse your takes are becoming asmon. your take here is borderline racist and, believe it or not, if a game is grindy, boring, p2w, etc – koreans dont like it either. lost ark would not have the numbers its been putting up, CONSISTENTLY, if the game had all the faults that your borderline mentally-disabled chat thinks it does without having any actual in game experience. so far, when it comes to korean gaming, the only thing you've convinced me of is that you dont actually know anything about korea or koreans at all.

I got 500 hours on Russia and there are 2 issues i wish from the bottom of my soul to be changed for western :
1 If you don't pay money to keep up with anyone who does you will never catch them and islands pvp + guild wars are dominated by MasterCard.
2 The loot progression is based on some daily repetables and its made of "crystals" .The feeling of dropping gear /items and maybe trading like in POE or other mmorpgs when you kill something is not there !
A lot of Asian cultures have a god or deity associated with luck. Rng is ingrained.

Tier 3 is good on launch because it has been balanced better.
I agree, I actually would have preferred the content not come all at once. T3 makes T2 and T1 irrelevant. Where we could have had more time played per tier that game time is eliminated.
TRUST ME! All these P2W players who use gold to buy material to increase their iLVL will have a bloody hard time clearing raids because they aren't skilled enough. I've been saying this ever since Lost Ark was released in Korea. This game is the most free to player friendly game where using $50000 real money wont have a huge huge advantage over a F2P player like me with 5 alts. I do have a character with 1500+ ilvl all done by f2p. MOST P2W games you feel the gap between P2W and F2P. You feel like you will never achieve end game content etc. Lost Ark isn't like that and you will seriously just have fun playing the game.

So the reason they are releasing tier 3 is because the game was dying until tier 3 and the new Abyss dungeons, Commander Raids, and Hell modes came out. Once tier 3 came out in "Lost Ark 2.0" back in 2020/2021 the game increased player population by 50-70% each year since, and increased retention by 40%+.
Tier 1 and 2 was kind of a gear grind with the biggest difficulties being gear/number based on DPS checks, rather than super tough mechanics. As someone who played in Tier 1 both on Launch, and recently in RU, TRUST ME, you DEFINITELY want to skip that shit. It is basically a tutorial, it is like doing World Quests in WoW before the raid comes out. Even with Tier 3, we aren't getting any Guardian Raids until first patch. I literally SOLO all the Tier 1 content at minimum ilvl, with ZERO issues, and most players could probably solo tier 1 content after a couple tries.
So don't take the word TIER as some big thing, it is basically just another leveling up time period.

Tier 3 coming out right away is fine.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 are obtained by pushing the main story anyway.
It's just level equipment.
You can tell by looking at the Japanese server, tiers 1 and 2, and then went bankrupt after a long delay.
The real beginning of Lost Ark is divided into before and after Valtan.

Amazon is only interested in wasting players time. T1 is for getting to know the classes and then by the time T2 or T3 is out, people know what their main is. This is important because T3 is time consuming. Amazon making a good product bad… why am I not surprised. They butchered the Wheel of Time show, New World is boring at endgame, and they're going to ruin Lord of the Rings and Lost Ark with their terrible decisions.

I would imagine I have no idea what tiers mean but because 1 comes after 2 and then comes 3 I'm going to just say a month sounds good and spew it. Mehh. Cringiest YTers are the most popular. How.
The KR director claimed he believes the appropriate speed for end content raid would be about 4 raids in a year. You guys are just starting T3, which means before the Legion Raids, you would get 1 Abyss Dungeon (Well of Oreha) and 1 Abyss Raid (Argos), so even if you get only 2 Legions raids in 2022, I doubt the heavy gamers will lack content.
I still dont know if this game will have pay 2 win. Anyone?

Sywo does a great job. I also love his "The Ark" Series with others like Lin-0 and Wilky for example. He and Senderfn (smaller german creator thats in for long too) are my two go tos.

Sadly I'm working 6 days and only get to play a bit throughout the week.
Meanwhile classic tbc finally releases BT almost 6 months after ssc and also releases it at a lower skill level because they saw no reason to give it to the community at its original state of difficulty.
