It was important for Him to go so that the Holy Spirit would come to us
“Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25)
Jesus did not go to heaven after His earthly ministry and “take a break” from His role as eternal Shepherd to His people.
As our living, exalted, and triumphant Redeemer, who was raised from the dead, He is at the right hand of God interceding on our behalf before the throne (Romans 8:34). Jesus is still very active on our behalf in heaven.
The cosmology of the Bible must be significantly different than modern cosmology. There is no up in outer space. Also the text says nothing about a spacesuit which The Lord Jesus Christ would have required. On top of that if outer space is an available volume for gas to fill, then fill it, it must. Forsake the profane ideas of men and proclaim biblical cosmology. The Bible makes no sense in current heliocentric view, heaven is above you.
Ye know Jesus promised to return in a little while and He did in 70 AD and took His vengeance.
How wonderful He is !!! God foretold everything long before and His body was even guarded by Roman soldiers who had the penalty of death if they slept on the job or failed their mission . All so what Jesus said would happen couldn't happen but it DID happen !!! Even His image was left on His burial cloth !!! Non believers ALL are living by the calendar of His Birth Anno Domini The Year Of Our Lord Jesus Christ 2023 !!!
HE is risen hallelujah!! HE us taken up glory to the FATHER praise and honour, and glory to HIM the everlasting Saviour.

In remembrance of our beautiful and sweet daughter and suicide awareness and prevention week quickly approaching: The masses of suicidal souls do not realize they are suicidal by committing that unforgivable soul ending sin against their Creator (Mark 3:37-29). Why? Because "many be called but few are chosen" (Mat 20:16) They have not submitted to God having not heard the good news/Gospel of Jesus Messiah of Nazareth or having heard continue, in darkness, down that highway of destruction,. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth! (Mat 22: 13 & 14)
Heart Enslaved
We're not to know God's works to be
But share His grace with humanity
Each day I grow and understand
His sorrow and suffering for sinful man
Sin beats a path till its road is paved
A highway of destruction to a heart enslaved
How sad for those who will not see His grace cleanse their iniquity
All humanity realizes they are sinners and living unrighteously, due to that breath of life/conscience: with knowledge of good and evil our downpayment in righteousness given us by a righteous Creator. They just want their problems and feelings of hopelessness to end! The truth and conclusion of the whole matter: the Physician Assistants (disciples) of our Great Physician, Jesus Messiah of Nazareth, are failing in their Commission of healing: sharing the Gospel to those God is calling and putting into our realm of influence. Remember when you are derided for the sake of speaking truth here on earth, there is a great chasm between the evil things of this flesh and good things held in the Spirit of God. Those who seek righteousness will be filled (Hab 2:14, Mat 5:6) with the Light and love of Father God, Jesus Christ! Jesus says,
"I am the light of the world: he that follows me
shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." (Jhn 8:12) Those who choose the god of this world, satan, will be filled with his darkness in unrighteousness and will suffer suicide, through a self-inflicted wound: that personal and chosen condemnation and eternal damnation of their souls, in hades. (Mat 10:28) Suicide is not a personal matter but affects everyone in that person's realm of influence and many more! Today is the day of salvation! While it is today (Heb 3:13-15), please cross that uncrossable chasm of unbelief, after death and the grave. This is that sin against the Creator's "breath of life" and His witness within your self, conscience! (Gen 2:7, Job 33:4, Acts 17:24-26) This world is temporary! "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" (Heb 9:27) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believes in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into
the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light,
because their deeds were evil." (Jhn 3:16-19) I love you all and cannot suffer living through another suicide! * When the Testimony of heavenly Father's hope/grace and good news of Immanuel, Gospel of His Son, the Law, Commandments and Holy Spirit, Prophets touches our hope through faith in repentance of past sins (Rom 3:25); the "Holiest of Kisses" and Seed of Father Yahweh Creator consummates new birth!!! (Jhn 3:16, Psa 85: 9-13) A child is born into the Kingdom; a heavenly host rejoices; and this sign shall follow: you will be wrapped in swaddling clothes and sealed in the anointing (agape love/Holy Spirit) of heavenly Father. You are now the Seed and fruit after His kind: a "Tree of Life." (Gen 1:11 & 12, Jhn 3:3 & 7, 1Pe 1:23) A "Tree of Life" is pleasant to the sight (Gen 2:9); knowing both good and evil (Gen 3:22); good for food (Gen 2:9) in the fruit of the Holy Spirit: in all love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. And against such a tree as this with a new mind, heart, soul, and tongue speaking Truth, "there is no law"! (Gal 5:22-23) When Satan, the "god of this world," hears of this new birth, he will be troubled and all the world whom worship him will, in their own derision: target, ridicule, and mock you, they will seek your destruction! (2Co 4:4, Eph 2:2) But be of good cheer (Mat 9:2, 14:27, Mar 6:50, Jhn 16:33) for they have heard and seen the testimony of Jesus, in you! (1Jhn 5:8) Now, Nothing can separate you from the love of God, you are sealed until the day of redemption! (Rom 8:36-39, Eph 4:30, 1Pe 2:9) Our Creator is faithful, we can do nothing of ourselves: heavenly Father calls us by His Word, chooses us for His Spirit, and it is Yahweh (God) who is faithful to keep us till the day of our redemption! In the final battle against Evil "the Lamb of Yahweh, Jesus Messiah of Nazareth, shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and
King of kings: and they that are with him are
called, and chosen, and faithful." (Rev 17:14) We miss you Karys and await our reunion in heaven!
Is it fair to say the Ascension was the beginning of the Christian religion, meaning worship of the unseen Christ, as opposed to a cult of Jesus when he was physically present?
