I have always had oily skin and hair all my life too! My hair would get so greasy in one day it looked like I hadn't washed it in a week!
I too had zits in my 50's and even in early 60's. I used to say"I'm going to go from pimples to wrinkles",which I sort of did! My dermo doc
used to tell me having oily skin is what made me always look younger than I was. Now in my mid 60's my skin and hair are getting much drie…It took long enough! At least I can skip a couple of days of washing my hair and my face isn't an oil slick by mid afternoon.I actually used the ELF primer and it broke me out last year…lol
