The first major Tyranid fleet encountered by the Imperium, Hive Fleet Behemoth are about as old-school as you get when it comes to these awful gribblies. Painting them is a little more involved than other white-leading Hive Fleets like Leviathan, for example, but not so much more so than makes them difficult. If you like red, well… there’s not really another choice, is there?!

They are ugly litter critters but the paint scheme looks great! I especially like the blue effect on the carapace. Thanks for sharing this.
This is definitely one of my favourites from you. Great job as always mate.
Is there a hive fleet with yellow/green oder yellow and black?
Perfect space crab 🦀
These new Tyranids seem to be a dry brushers dream.
Nice job!
I followed your tutorial for the Commissar last year for when I dipped my toe into Imperial Guard. Now that I’ve been hit in the face with a truck’s worth of plastic alien greebles, I’m definitely gonna follow along with this guide too! Sickety sick sick!
I'm not even collecting Tyranids, let alone painting them, but I've watched every single vid so far. These are just so damn enjoyable to watch!
hey what's your opinion for drybrushing and using a texture palette instead of a paper towel?
Oh man this sealed it for me. I'm painting my Nids like this. I absolutely love the carapace
Thank you , Troy .
🐺 Loupis Canis .
Glad you been cracking the brood clans of the tyranids my friend.
Today's episode is sponsored by "what have you" <3 😉
Ah the Tyranid's love them nice colours may use that on my one's
Great tutorial as ever Troy. Thank you for consistently putting out such great content that is easy to follow. Your show has improved my painting more in the last two years than 40 years of painting on my own did!
b u g s !
Absolutely fantastic results on this guy!!
Brilliant, I particularly love the fact that you used a light caucasian skin tone type paint to highlight the red. As you say, it really works as a highlight for this kind of alien muscle.
Loving these tyranid guides, im still undecided on how i want to paint them ^^
Excellent work! Was wondering if you would ever plan on painting some Victory at Sea stuff from warlord. Loved your Bolt Action stuff, so I bet your videos on Victory at Sea would be smashing as well.
Do you think you could have a go at the new Hive Fleet Typhon at some point? 😮
