Yorick is such a fascinating character in League of Legends so getting to delve into this lore was a proper interesting video to do! The shadow isles has a lot of depth and it’s going to be interesting to see where his story goes forward in the future!

Makes me sad what they've done with Yorick. Throwing away the masterful arc he had set up for him. The monk with nothing paralleled with the king who had it all and it wasn't enough. Who once laid souls to rest but must now rouse them and keep them in eternal torment to combat the one who chained them to the Shadow Isles, penitence and excess, combating evil by doing evil. BUT NAH! Dead woman from Lucian's backstory that now out of nowhere just tripped on Isolde's soul and DBZ fused with her as a kid, but we never mentioned that until now hehe. Oh and now Lucian's motivations have to change from avenging Senna to being a one-note overbearing husband so let's create another useless character in Akshan who will presumably do nothing but collect dust at this point , whatever man we gotta make all these unecessary changes to still pay off the whole Lucian-Viego parallel they have always had in being broken men destroyed by their respective lost loves at some point. All worth though because Senna's more marketable, throw her in some atheleisure and let's ruin a plot ten years in the making for a quick buck wheee. Who cares if all the amazing writers who made this once shitty lore great feel they have to quit as a result of not being heard! Actually fuck it let's lay em off!!!
I hate Riot's execs sometimes for what they do when they stick their beaks in. Maybe Yorick will get to breathe on Unbound Thresh whenever we get around to that -__-

I'm sad, they butchered my favourite line. When the maiden says "you could become infinite." That's when he responds "I am enough." Just a defiant statement of self acceptance. A cool twist in the fantasy genre.
You have to do Azir voice lines
The fact that characters like Yorik, Maokai, Kalista and even Hecarim were not properly utilized during the Ruination story with Viego … is still a big fail on Riots part … and a wound on the lore of Runeterra
Also the story about Yorick not saving the dying man because he did not have enough … shows how bad the Ruination in-game story was as he gives from the vial to multiple people … which should mean he has none left …

The thing that breaks my heart is when Yorick says "at last, I see the wolf." Even after everything he has gone through, he still doesn't get a peaceful death. That sucks man 😥

Yorick deserved better. He should have been brought in on the Sentinels of Light event in an actually meaningful way. He is one character with the clearest intentions regarding Viego.
Not a fan of Voice Line channels that mix them up , very often ruining the context.

Maiden of the mist was part of fragments soul of Isolde. But after sentilnels of light completelly destroyed Isolde soul she is gone.
Viego can finally become what he was before her death or he will be worst and become king of undead who have no thing to loose.
And he will rebuild his Imperial kingdom on Camavor.

Also cool thing about in game Yorick is, that when you music starts playing and depending on the skin this music changes. Special the arclight Yorick theme is beautiful sad.

One of my favorite things about his voice is just how tired he sounds. Still one of the best reworks, at least lore-wise. Too bad Riot kinda shelfed him.

It's great seeing the reactions but the channel you use doesn't have the full original lines and besides having music on the background instead makes their own collage out of the quotes more or less. I'd suggets using either Skin Spotlight since they are the beset source for any league content and have the names and interactions listed or straight up going through the wikia and browsing the audio page

Join a game as Yorick, build 'Heartsteel' and just keep stacking health. It feels really good to be huge, for no damn reason. 2,000,000 Yorick points of just being huge as fuck for fun and no other reason only to march down mid with a fucking army of Mist Walkers an scare the shit out of the enemy.

One of my absolut faviorts, especially in terms of lore, charakter and voicelines.
One thing needs to be clear. Yorick is not immortal per se. The Tear of life is what keeps him alive.
At any moment Yorick can decide to just end himself, but its his believe that his Duty is to end the curse is what makes him holding on to life.
He wants to die and still after all the suffering he endured and horriable things he saw, he continues to live for his duty, that is an evidence of a strong will.
Also the Maiden is a part of Isoldes Soul which was splitt apart
