  1. Wow…. Now that was awesome… they all got you for sure.
Tom, happy trails wherever you and the misses find yourself. Enjoy everything you find yourselves doing no matter what. After 34 years of helping everyone around you to become better people and to bring out the best in themselves, you've earned it more than you know.
Take care, my friend and remember to keep yourself healthy!

  2. What a disgusting “Lily White” presentation that should have been kept and circulated privately. This presentation was very poorly thought out and presented. I‘ve seen some of AOPA ‘s “few” pieces on persons of color, some Tom has contributed to, but this presentation shows nothing but a white privileged, 30+ lily white Career. I am a pilot, I have relatives that were Tuskegee Airman, and I know many, many Black, Hispanic and Asian aviators. AOPA doing a mediocre job at best.

  3. Great that his daughters were able to host this tribute to Tom's AOPA career! Thousands of us 'regular' pilots have been able to virtually experience so many of his flying experiences. Thanks, Tom!

  4. Number years ago I was at Smoketown Airport. Was talking to a older man, and he said his son was flying in with his 2 granddaughters. Soon a Bonanza showed up and dropped them off. Number years later I was at Hagerstown getting my repairman certificate and I visited AOPA and I met Tom in his office. Told him my story. He remember the day. Good Luck

  12. Why do you keep doing shows on big money aircraft when most GA pilots fly vintage and affordable aircraft. I really do not care to see jets, autopilots, high tech stuff.
