  1. I remember a friend in school (maybe around 1st grade, maybe earlier) died in a car accident. Jeep rolled over with his family in it. He was buckled in, but he was small. Everyone was inside the car except him. He somehow slipped out of the seatbelt and was ejected from the jeep through the side window. The cause of death was a broken neck from landing on the ground. His brother was the one who found him and suffers from survivor's guilt even to this day nearly 40 years later.

  2. A guy on the shroomery who everyone loved was in a car crash with his bother and died, both of them were not wearing seatbelts, the brother survived relatively unharmed, yet the shroomery member passed away, I wear my seatbelt 99% of the time, there is 1% times where I dont due to whatever, its different each time

  3. you should wear your seatbelt, it is there for your safety and has been proven to reduce the chance of injury and/or death in car accidents… However I believe that Seatbelt laws are representative of common government overreach laws and should not exist / be enforced. I believe that the law should be that minors must remain buckled but if you are old enough to vote and make your own decisions you can make decisions that are unsafe for you without the government interfering.

  4. I don’t miss him, anyone else? It’s not interference it’s protecting the tax payer for not having to pay for all the bills these mental giants rack up in closed head injuries without insurance.

  5. Yeah seat belt laws belt are affective at preventing natural selection from happening. Put them in cars but leave it up to the people to decide to use them . The smart ones will live and we won't end up with a bunch of stupid people in our population like we have now saying a man is a women

  6. Funny, i had a person unalive themselves a few years ago who was a major anti seatbelt, anti helmet laws person.

How did he get that way? The seatbelt caused major injuries during a crash, in which he begged for years to be allowed to die. Seatbelts and helmets transfer the energy. You are trading death with major injury. People should have the right to choose.

There are plenty of people today, with crippling injuries that will tell you what they think of seatbelts if you bother to ask.

  7. He is still right, the government has no right to tell us what we can do with our bodies in our vehicles which are an extension of our home. The government is not the safety police, we are in charge of our own safety, you bootlickers need to understand that and stop giving our rights away, just look up what Benjamin Franklin said about the matter.
