  1. Spoliers:

It seems like maybe the figure somehow wants Rex? Maybe it's trying to bring down Rex's mood so much by killing London to bring out Flux. The fact that it got angry from remembering Rex protecting London seems weird. Or maybe perhaps they just got mad at failing their job? Maybe this someone likes Rex or maybe they just hate London so much that they get mad over seeing someone protect her. We all can tell from this series that London isn't exactly this pure maiden. It could be that Reina made her a high priestess to protect London from this assassin. London being a high priestess in training would make her an important public figure and so if her life is any danger more protected. You can tell from London's faces, tones, and objectives sometimes that she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. I almost tempted to say that she has the same situation as Rex and she has another "her" inside of her. But this is all just a theory and i'm probably looking too much into it

  2. hm, ah if only there were people better at being diplomatic with their words. So many things one could say to deflate Vincent and how they operate. They seem to assume protecting their charge is the extent of what they should do when properly maintaining their charges mental and emotional state is just as important to ensure nothing well like this could happen, but instead he lets his own spite and emotions keep the key piece to ensuring his charge is happy and within their safe lockdown away. As a superior even with what rex did that put them in danger that was wrong ultimately i would still place the blame on Vincent not doing his task right.
