We've got a friendly wallaby we named Jane after a character from firefly. He hangs out and eats most anything i plant thats not inside the garden fence. I noticed though, that he doesn't touch anything till late summer when things in the meadow really dry out. Next year I'm going to plant a bunch of his favorite things hoping that will be enough to keep him away from my favorite things. As long as the kangaroos don't catch on i think it might work. They have different preferences than Jane though so I'm hopeful.
