I recently started my first alt character and while leveling and having a bit more knowledge of the game I noticed that for every (from what I could tell) legit player I saw there were 20 bots and whats worse is those bots would instant kill main quest mobs/ pickup mainquest items making my leveling experience unenjoyable and longer. If people cant even make it to the problem presented in this video because bots are perma killing main quest mobs whats even the point of playing.

yes, pay 2 win is a huge issue, but only because it serves the need for instant gratification. maybe go back to teaching kids you cant always get what you want at the speed you want it and fix the mindsets before they even pick up a game.
I hate the few entitled f2p players flexing because we all know they played ridiculous amounts of hours since released and mixmaxed the game.
The thing about lost Ark was it was advertised to be very average person friendly and could access content easily as you out in decent amount of time. Right now it's just whales justifying the ridiculous stuff, and not all whales are whales for cash, just being "f2p" with lots of time also classifies as a whale in the sense that they have access to resources no normal average person would have. Since when is playing and grinding 12 hours a day since release just to access new content normal for the average player?

F2P player here, started a week after launch and just hit 1340 yesterday. Saw all this discussion and heard horror stories about the push to 1370 and decided to just park my main at 1340. I'm not moving an inch until extra materials I can earn in game come online or honing chances get fixed. There's a severe lack of materials in daily content and the honing chances are already atrocious. Sure, I'm locked out of a lot of content that require 1370, but well…it doesn't seem like it's meant for F2P players to get there anyway.

the honing system is single-handedly why I quit playing when I got to the 1300s, or maybe it was 1400? IDK any more. haven't played in over a month. I chose to quit rather than buy casino stones, and honing mats with rmt on AH.

Random take here: MMOs should learn from league of legends when it comes real money content. By the far the most non pay to win game. Just let the average player commit to the game and eventually they'll want to invest money. profitability when it comes to online is hella better when it comes to long term investments.

I wish we could somehow unite and boycott every single pay to win game so they would stop making them. It’s literally taking over and destroying gaming.
One thing being overlooked. A majority of the player base dont give s shit. Asmons graph of people willing to act and boycott store mounts applies here.
The only people i hear complaining about argos are the elites. People who are f2p and are already 1340+, streamers, and people who ported from other servers. Ive talked to countless new players, T1, and T2 players and most of them do not care. A high majority of this player base is casual 1-2 hrs a day players who dont care about the rate content is released as they know eventually they will get there. I think the argos drama is being cause by a minority of the community.

this game will die within a few months sadly. Casuals won't put up with a game like this in the west even though I love it.
Its disgusting. Plane and simple. Why anyone..ANYONE would support this type of game is beyond me. Dont play it…dont stream it…dont give it any of your attention or time. It deserves neither. Plenty of other games out there do though.
