Do you miss the old classic Cube World? Me too but fret not, Veloren is here to fill that longing!
i like this.
I've been following this game ever since you first showed it off awhile ago. The amount of progress that's been made with it since then has been astounding. Looking forwards to what the future has in store for it!
definitely would love to see more Paul, thanks! o/
Cubeworld is that you?
Super hyped to follow along with this series! Loved Cube World as a kid, played Trove a lot when I got a computer, this is the perfect combination of nostalgia! Really eager to see where the devs take this game
Love the vid! Do I hear a play through?
This game is great. Thanks Paul! You're always introducing us to great hidden gems like Vintage Story. I can't stop playing that game and keeping updates with the discord server!
This is just Trove with a stylized reskin. Same graphic style, all crafted items type high dense pixel look is the same…the purple swirls in one of the pots in the video is the exact same as in Trove. You would think if its a built from scratch program the graphic wouldn't look the same. Why purple at all? Magic can be other colors then purple swirly liquid…
A moose bit my sister once. No – realli! Glad to see you survived fighting your moose. Moose bites can be pretty nasty.
edit: In all seriousness, this game looks really cool! I've sent a few of my kids to watch this video and see what they think. I'm hoping this could be a new "all of us" game!
How long will we talk about Cubeworld? That's how great it was.
I will have to check this out. As someone else in the comments said, this will fill the cube world shaped hole in my heart. It was such a beautiful game that i felt so attached to. Just like Timber and Stone. Iโm happy people are taking up where these games left off. Veloren for Cube World and Satus for Timber and Stone.
I loved watching you play cube world all those years ago and am so pleased this is so similar!
First we had beta, then alpha, now pre-alpha. Whatโs next ? A review of an idea about a game ๐๐
C'mon Paulie, you want to get some gear and into the caves๐
This looks fun. Downloading right now! ๐
You might want to do some testing with your audio setup, Paul. You have stated in many of your videos how things can be "loud" so you have to turn down the volume. However, when I am watching your videos, the audio sounds perfect. When you turn down the volume, it becomes almost inaudible to me. And this is whether or not I'm watching on my desktop computer, phone, laptop, or even Nvidia Shield TV.
It could be that your local audio levels need to be turned down a bit if it's just too loud in your headphones. And you certainly don't need to "shout" when the audio gets "loud", because it just isn't loud in the end result. I cannot speak for everyone, of course, but whether it's the rain in Minecraft, the music in Sapiens, or the river in this game, the audio sounds perfectly fine (not too loud at all) and I can still hear your voiceover perfectly over it.
I love it! I hope you do more gameplay on this game @PSJ
Modded Cube World?
I've been hoping for a new Minecraft series, but this'll do. ๐๐
I always wanted to play cubeworld but never got to. Thus gives me hope for this style of game afain. This game looks amazing. Not too long ago they release the first DLC/expansion for Mutant Year Zero. It is called "seed of evil". I haven't checked steam yet but I know it's. On Xbox for 14.99. I really, really hope you download it and make another series or enjoy it solo. Hands down my favorite youtube channel. You have gotten me through some real tough times.
so when is the release? cube world in the old days was awesome
is this game for free??? will it be on steam at some point?
I can't believe he uploaded a video on this game mere days after I started playing.
wen will you play unturned again
Switching to this for a bit might be a good way to tell Mojang we don't need them. They think they can do anything they want now, they need to be shown reality. The alternatives are coming. Minecraft won't have a monopoly on black games forever.
the game looks pretty cool, personally i think i'll wait till it is a little bit further in development to play it but looks amazing so far
hey paulsoarsejr i just found your channel and would like to thank you for being one of my favorite youtubers when i was a kid. thank you for all the great memories, best of luck!
The weather system is my favorite, it made the atmosphere more pleasing when you're on your way to the next town.
is this open source?
this game look so cool, has anyone gone to the edge of the world?
18:41 first time I'm giving you criticism Paul, I would have liked a zoom-in on the glowy creature, more my preference than a criticism
love your videos Paul
Definitely want more!
Reminds me of PixArk
Yeeees !!! I never got to play CubeWorld back in its Prime, and the Steam Release was a Flop, this game looks like it has so much potential !!! Love it ! Installed it and played it for like 20 minutes, enemies are tough but it's for sure fun. Gotta get some friends to install it and play with them. Also, would be great to see more videos
