  1. Driving on narrow roads is tricky enough in little ApeMaria. The van is so much bigger! Maybe when you go back you can go in the morning so it’s not so hot.
You worked hard today, too, just getting there and back! Those tiles are so heavy and you lifted many of them. Sergi is proud to take care of you by proving is excellent strength. You will work hard enough when you install them. They will be a triumph 😍

  2. wow that was great work in super heat – you are real sports(wo)men – think about those cyclists that climb mountains in races in heat – so you won first prize now πŸŽ–πŸ†πŸ…πŸ‘

  3. I can't believe how hot it is in Europe!!! Poor Sergi. That was almost inhumane. I'm so pleased you have your refrigerator and he could have cold drinks. I really, really think you should install a hoist at the top of your garden wall so you can lower down all your heavy items. Or, buy one of the stair-climbing carts or a heavy duty appliance dolly. They have about 400 lbs capacity. That would have significantly reduced the number of trips Sergi made up and down the stairs and saved your backs.😘

  6. Hello alla! I showed sergis face when he was carrying the tiles in the bag late at night to my husband. To tell him, honey, you are not the only man in the world, who carries old dirty broken antique tiles in the house. And there are still other mad women in the world, who are addicted to old tiles!!! I love what you are doing!πŸŽ‰

  7. Wow that is so much work. Sergi got several months worth of workouts in couple of days. I think that this will be one of those stories that you remember and laugh about years from now as you admire your stunning terra cotta tiled floors! Make sure that you take good care of Sergi! He clearly loves you very much. πŸ™‚

  11. Ciao Alla and Sergi, what a tremendous job you did bringing the tiles home in 30 degrees heat. Sergi was getting grumpy, but he was tired. Your floor is going to be beautiful, just as you dreamed it would be. Eat a big bowl of pasta, have a glass of Prosecco, a Cannoli for desert, and get a good night's sleep. Sweet dreams. Love from N.Y.
