All the Shelter Dogs together with the House Pack for a Bush Walk

Here’s a few moments from our rescue Tuesday. Shadow is living life however she pleases. And sunning herself on the warm driveway is a daily ritual for her.

All the shelter dogs join the pack for a bush walk. There are few tense moments but everyone is improving. We discover Rosco is a water lover.

We will be starting our Easter celebrations this Friday so we’re all getting everything organised for it. Rodney and Adam are cleaning up the truck and a treasure hunt area is being created, something a little different this year to the ones previous.

In the dam, Bandit waits at the gate for a Swiss ball, but it’s not a day care day today. He quickly diverts his attention to the idea of swimming in the pool. Another of his many favourite activities at the farm.

Lunchtime in the pool area. The doggies go for a swim.

  1. Oh the testament these dogs make to what you know! So thrilled to see Shadow lounging in the sun with no cares! All the new trainees getting to participate is beautiful! Roscoe and Nevayeh sure enjoy the water!! Mollie is traveling a little slower down her path but Nevayeh is encouraging her! Chance is so special! Such a great boy! Thank you so very much!

  2. Shadow's becoming the sun-bathing beauty! Shelter dogs are really doing well; surprised and pleased to see their water their
water responses. Could not tell if Neveah was in the pack; is she still recovering from surgery? Peace.

  3. I’m wondering if Shadow is so used to being separated from the pack that she has developed a desire to sometimes be away from the crowd. It doesn’t seem to bother her a whole lot. Although, she loves group activities! Best of both worlds at the farm!
She’s turned into the bestest girl! ❤️🐾❤️

  4. I knew Nevaeh, Molly, Chance and Roscoe were going to prove they could do it!

  5. Wonderful to watch all the doggos getting along, realizing the Farm is big enough for everyone to have space and friends. There is fun and love and no one has to growl or fight. Just play with toys, sticks, and each other. Then swim your troubles away!! Loved all the shepherds having a great time. Lily is always happy with her stick. Looked like two of them had purple collars and I am confused. Rosie is my favorite so I'm always looking for purple, and Lily has a black collar. I guess I'll just have to watch a half dozen more times!!!! Ready for the Easter surprises and decorations. Wonder if the Easter Bunny will be available? Thank you for another video to brighten my day!! Love to all at the Farm! 🐾💖🏊‍♂🥰

  6. It’s amazing what can be achieved with “problem” dogs if you are prepared to put in the work. Too many people get a shelter dog but simply don’t put in the hours of work everyday to turn things around. Mega respect to Luke, Sam and the team, great job. Roscoe looks like he will give Fredo a run for his money chasing toys in the pond when he earns the muzzle off. Thank you for a few minutes of happiness each day in this miserable world. Now, I’m off to watch the video again!

  7. I will never forget when Luke first let Shadow completely free. He reached down and patted her side and said " don't let me down". Unhooked her and she has shown him his love and support mean everything to her. I know she will be adopted and I will miss her a lot.

I walk her when I'm there for about a mile, but her energy is still strong when we get back to the house?? Any advice would be appreciated.. Thank you

  11. For a second there I thought Shadow, when she was laying on the driveway, was Miss Violet, from the perspective you couldn't tell she was bigger. It is amazing how far she has come, what a great gift you have given her, and now the other shelter dogs.

  12. Molly muzzle seems way to small, there's no panting room on all of them really, they also don't look bite proof. There are some excellent FB groups about correct muzzle sizing/fitting etc if you're interested ❤❤❤
